That doesn't stop them from coming on visas
and just staying here. And how many 'visitors'
like that are never screened until an epidemic
happens?

I don't know; why don't you share your knowledge on the topic?

And we live better than most of them.

Which explains why people would want to live here -- unless they're already living better.

Donald doesn't understand that -- do you?

So, what do such countries have to offer besides
illiterate, uneducated and non-English speaking
people who will likely need government assistance
to live?

As others have mentioned, African immigrants are better educated than our own citizens. Nigerian immigrants have significantly higher wages than the average American. English proficiency is generally required.

Not to mention the diseases that many
citizens of those countries bring in with them.

Oh please. Trump is not on a public health crusade. This excuse is as transparent as when the Nazis accused the Jews of spreading vermin and typhus.

Since the President has done such a great job of bringing this excellent phrase back into vogue, I think we ought to give him credit for it. Therefore, I think we should be referring to these countries as "Trumphole" countries.

But if anyone called them "Obamahole" countries, the person would be called racist, of course.

And I know we are all completely shocked that this is particular utterance did not come from Obama's mouth or Twitter account. I know! And what are the odds that Donald J. Trump said something stupid and repulsive on a Thursday?

It just so happens that Trump gets the credit for this one. Is that racist?

About as racist as Obama saying "The cops acted stupidly" about the cops (who were white) for arresting a black guy who was breaking into a house, or saying that if he had a son, he'd look like Trayvon--again, just because of skin color--and just because the guy Trayvon assaulted wasn't black.

...Okay. You're working really hard to make this about Obama. And racism for some reason.
I'm just suggesting that we rebrand these countries as "Trumphole" countries. Donald likes having his name on stuff, after all.

Am I the one who "worked really hard" to call Trump a racist when he used the word "s....hole countries"? Why do liberals think it's black people who are being referred to when the "s" word is mentioned anyway? They think the same thing when the word "thug" is used. They don't seem to have a very high opinion about black people, yet they claim to be fighting for them (at least while campaigning).

Uhhhh...Did you? I just got here.

Why do liberals think it's black people who are being referred to when the "s" word is mentioned anyway?

I think because he said people from Haiti and Africa were bad, but people from Scandinavia are good. It actually had little to do with the "Trumphole".

Should I be involved in this? You seem to just be aimlessly ranting.

You should watch the news sometime.

People from America are mostly white. What does that make us?

Should I be involved in this? You seem to just be aimlessly ranting.

He mentioned specific countries though, none of them majority white, and the country named whose people he did want was majority white

Not difficult to make the connection really

It really isn't, which is why this entire thing (especially those who are trying to marginalize it) is a microscopic lens focusing on those who are participating in their own expose.

If you are being honest, it is very clear to see the implications, and why they are so problematic on a geopolitical level.

The States have isolated themselves from 1/3 of the world.

I just want to point out:
1. That "black guy" is a petite Harvard professor who walks with a cane.
2. It was his own house.
3. The neighbors called the police because he was black.
4. One of the cops was black himself.

We're talking about legal immigration. Illegal immigration (like over-staying your visa) is a separate issue.

And how many 'visitors' like that are never screened until an epidemic happens?
Don't know. Do you? How many recent epidemics have been sparked by diseases brought in by immigrants? Or are you just throwing poop at the wall to see what sticks?

Absolutely no one. Just like LBJ repeatedly using the N word when speaking about African Americans.

Zero backlash.

It seems to be mostly around Martin Luther King day when the libs start throwing around the most accusations of racism. It seems to be the way they celebrate the day.
