President Donald Trump abruptly ended a solo interview with CBS News' "60 Minutes" Tuesday and did not return for an appearance he was supposed to tape with Vice President Mike Pence, according to multiple sources familiar with what happened.

After camera crews set up at the White House on Monday, Trump sat down with host Lesley Stahl for about 45 minutes on Tuesday before he abruptly ended the interview and told the network he believed they had enough material to use, according to two sources.

The President later accused Stahl of not wearing a mask and tweeted out a brief clip of her without one while at the White House.

A person familiar with the situation told CNN that the image from the tweet shows Stahl with her producers immediately after Trump ended the interview. Stahl had not yet gone back to get her personal belongings to put her mask back on. She had a mask on from the time she entered the White House and just before the interview began.

So what? Isn't 45 minutes long enough for an interview? Keep in mind they'd add commercials to it to make it an hour show. So what's so strange about that? His interviews with the Fox news people are probably about the same.

Usually, there’s some amount of editing required if for no other reason than to speed things along. A couple seconds of pause doesn’t feel like much IRL, but it can really drag on camera.

Well you don't have to wait until Sunday. All parties acknowledge they had 45 minutes.

All parties acknowledge Trump cut the session short. All parties acknowledge he didn't return for a joint session with Pence.

Honestly, his 'debate' performances suggest the less time he spends on national TV the better. The only thing worse than a bad performance on TV is to make an event of how thin-skinned he is by walking out of a bad performance on TV. His supporters think he can run rings around Xi and Putin, and he can't even handle an old broad with a microphone.
