And they keep asking me
what has Trump done to support Christian values.

March on President Trump.

M-Bob
I think the true hypocrisy is that if a politician changes their position from pro-life to pro-abortion they are considered 'enlightened' and 'finally coming to terms with reality.' Like Al Gore who changed in such a way. But if a politician changes from pro-abortion to pro-life they are somehow espousing some 'hypocrisy' that pro-life voters must see, and moving in a backwards direction.

Which actually shows the hypocrisy of the media and our society as well. Now if Trump was talking the pro-life talk and not walking the walk they would have a point. But he has actually made strides in tangible ways within his executive powers to cut funding for abortion, and protect the rights of those who refuse to perform abortions. That's not pandering. That's actually accomplishing.

And Trump kept his promise:
Trump march for life 2020.png

Donald Trump made history Friday by becoming the first sitting president to address the March for Life in person, telling hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers he was “proud to stand with you” to “protect the right of every child, born and unborn, to fulfill their God-given potential.”

He's a notorious womanizer, having slept with numerous prostitutes and inappropriate content stars. I imagine he's paid for a number of abortions over the years.
I guess gossip is allowed on CF. Don’t know.

FYI the inappropriate content star lawyer is in jail.

January 22, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – For the first time in history, a U.S. president will attend in person and speak at the annual March for Life that is happening in Washington D.C. on Friday.

President Trump announced today that he will be speaking at the 2020 March for Life on January 24, an annual event attended by hundreds of thousands to protest legal abortion.

“We are deeply honored to welcome President Trump to the 47th annual March for Life," said Jeanne Mancini, President of March for Life.

"He will be the first president in history to attend and we are so excited for him to experience in person how passionate our marchers are about life and protecting the unborn," she continued.

"From the appointment of pro-life judges and federal workers, to cutting taxpayer funding for abortions here and abroad, to calling for an end to late-term abortions, President Trump and his Administration have been consistent champions for life and their support for the March for Life has been unwavering. We are grateful for all these pro-life accomplishments and look forward to gaining more victories for life in the future," she added.

Good for President Trump, the GOP, and the GOP majority SCOTUS for making abortion illegal. Oh wait...never mind.

It's highly doubtful that Trump and his Republican cronies will actually push to overturn Roe vs. Wade or even push for a federal law that would make abortion illegal because that could bring an end to one of the GOP's most useful voting political platforms. The GOP doesn't seem to have much else going for it except for arguing against LGBT rights and ranting on about a border wall and illegal immigration.

Be careful with predicting Trump. So far everything he said he would do he has done.

And? He's still an immoral and ungodly man who needs removed from office. Christians need to stop fawning over him.

I couldn't agree more. I think this whole ordeal with Trump being elected (despite his immoral and ungodly behavior) demonstrates just how much lower the moral decline in this country has sunk. It also demonstrates that not even Christians are immune to the lure of political power. It proves that even Christians can be ensnared when they're tempted with an alluring offer of political power and a dominating influence in the government. That's been proven to be undeniably true because a man like Trump is faithfully supported, passionately defended, and publicly praised by conservative Christians.

Gone are the days when the majority of conservatives (including prominent evangelicals) expressed their moral indignation over the immoral and unethical behavior of the President. It was "Character does matter. You can't run a family, let alone a country without it. How foolish to believe that a person who lacks honesty and moral integrity is qualified to lead a nation and the world" (James Dobson).

But that moral indignation was replaced with: "It’s a cliché but true: We are electing a commander-in-chief, not a theologian-in-chief" (also James Dobson). And that excuse was followed by: "I voted for a President, not a Pastor," "I didn't vote for Trump because he was a choir boy," and "No one is sinless."

Trump is aware of the passionate loyalty of his voting base... “They say I have the most loyal people, where I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It's like incredible" (Donald Trump: They say I could ‘shoot somebody’ and still have support).

In the last four years, the Republican Party has been morphed into the Party of Trump and molded to be his image. And as a result, it has lost respect and its moral credibility. Conservatives can no longer honestly claim the Republican Party is the influential political party of Christian morality and values.

Trump sure beats the last guy in office.

Plus bonus -- 4 more years coming.

Barack Obama... married for more than 25 years to his one and only wife and fathered two children with his one and only wife. No adultery, no womanizing, no paying off inappropriate content stars and playboy bunnies to silence them about an affair, no bragging about he could get away with sexually groping women by grabbing them by their *** because he's a celebrity, no bragging about how he would watch women and teenage girls getting undressed during beauty pageants, no inappropriate comments about how he would date his daughter if she wasn't his daughter and no inappropriate comments about what he thinks about his daughter's backside, no $25 million dollar lawsuit settlement because he cheated a lot of people out their money through a fraudulent university scam and no lawsuit settlement because he didn't pay the illegal immigrants he hired to build a flamboyant tower that would bear his name.

Barack Obama... not twice divorced and in his third marriage to his former mistress. He didn't father five children with three different women. No extramarital affairs with inappropriate content stars or playboy bunnies.

However, if Barack Obama had demonstrated even the slightest hint of sinful and morally depraved behavior that Donald Trump is guilty of himself, then he would still be judged and face condemnation from the same conservatives who now faithfully support and fervently defend Trump. How can I be certain of this? Well, (1) Barack Obama is a Democrat and the ad nauseam excuses like "No one is sinless!" and "He shouldn't be judged for his sins!" has never once been applied by Trump's supporters to overlook the sinful behavior of Democrats, and (2) the majority of devout conservatives spent the entire eight years of Bill Clinton's presidency condemning him for committing adultery and judging him for his sexual deviant behavior toward women. If only Donald Trump had stuck with his lifelong liberal views instead of pretending to be a Republican in order to gain the political favor of conservatives.

Still known at home and abroad to be one of our weakest leaders ever.

China really got over on him.
Biden might have made out?

Some reliable citations (that aren't biased anti-liberal conservative talking points) would be nice to substantiate that claim. Otherwise, the accusation is completely hollow and not worth considering.

And why do you think he did that, this year and not the last, or the year before, or ever? So he could blame his impeachment on something so utterly absurd as his so-called Christian values. But lying, cheating, adultery, inappropriate content stars, robbing contractors, destroying the environment, self serving, greed...those are all his "Christian values" too, right?
Hah!

But you are saying that "mass killing of civilians" is happening right now. Infants even. While the populace is armed to teeth and do .....nothing.

So what was the point of having guns again? If populace is not defending infants then what will they defend it against ?

What are you implying? Are you saying that people should be arming themselves to go to abortion clinics and.....what?

Or he could have done it because no other US President has done it, asked why, was given an answer and decided to do it.

Ya right. If he actually cared, he would not have waited until he was impeached. It was just another self-serving opportunity, and self-serving is what he is all about.
