2. Defunding police: On a radio show in 2020, Harris said " in the June radio interview the movement “rightly” called out the amount of money spent on police departments instead of community services such as education, housing, and healthcare, emphasizing that more police did not equate to more public safety." In another interview (Good Morning America) "applauded Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s decision to slash police funding by $150 million"

....so if a mayor supports reallocating funds for the police to another part of the city's budget, that is "defunding the police" in your mind?

If it is not spent on policing then what else would it be?

If the reallocated money saves work for the police (because money spent elsewhere reduces the incidence of crime), win-win.

When a candidate promises that if you vote for him you need never vote again in another election, you need to check whether they are another 4th rate charlie Chaplin impersonator.

The implications is chilling.

Yep, Trump 2024, vote for me and we will end that whole democracy and peaceful fair transfer of power every 4 years.

The one thing he is honest on is his intention to rig the whole election system.
Well, considering the fact that the DNC crowned Kamala Harris as their presidential nominee without receiving a single vote from an american voter, I think democracy is in safer hands with Trump.

Why so no votes in November? Oh wait with Donald it's a one off event, no need 4 years later if you take him at his word.

I have a feeling that democracy will be just fine after Trump is elected.

Unless you take him at his word, as a 'christian' he has stated no need to vote 4 years later as he will have fixed everything.

His promise is to end democracy, only people who use the bible as toilet paper would think otherwise.
I think otherwise, so are you accusing me of using the Bible as toilet paper?

Donald has stated if you vote for him as a christian there is no need to ever vote again as he will have fixed everything.

You are the one who has stated that a candidate declaring there is no need to vote ever again once they are elected is not a threat to democracy.

I'll take my chances with the convict. I am sure everything will be fine.

Kamala Harris said she would

1. Pack the court
2. Abolish private health insurance
3. Sign a slavery reparations bill
4. Support mandatory gun buybacks

so unless you think subverting the judiciary, taking people's health insurance away, confiscating guns, etc. is OK, you better worry about what Kamala wants to do to "democracy"

a woman who never won a primary or national election

Can you quote her on that?
You don't seem to understand what I'm saying. I'm not a tit-for-tat guy, I'm into concepts, philosophies, etc... You know - the high-end part of human thinking.

Video:

That was awesome wasn't it?

It's a new way of saying "it'll be an awesome administration when I get into office"!

He's not wrong though, about Christians not voting.... Hopefully this year we can get a bigger turnout from the Christians. :)

Neither Trump (the topic of the thread) nor Harris (about who's policies you just made a claim) are concepts or philosophies. They are individuals with actual records, statements, and proposals. This is a dodge.
