He just can't stop being a genuinely horrible human being it seems. That's the President of the United States smirking at a member of his own party having to self-isolate from a potentially fatal disease. Romney's wife has MS apparently, and if she gets the disease it'll likely kill her.

And I did not vote for him. But I think it is still important to claim our solidarity as a nation, the good with the bad. He is our president. We need to be FOR him in spite of his obvious flaws and childish behavior.

The time for "us v them" games is over. Our new reality calls for unity. That does not mean we let anything just pass but we can try to act like mature citizens. I work in a hospital where people of all political and religious opinions are working beautifully together for the common good. Maybe that is because we have a competent leader who is open to questions and challenges, in fact, even seeks them out.

We must look beyond our left/right, conservative/liberal labels. There is no more "other side".

It wasn't a nice approach I will give you that.

Romney isn't going to go near his wife for reasons that aren't needed to explain here. He will follow the guidelines, and not place her in that circumstance.

I have heard people and the press say just as nasty things about him, and his family. Being a genuinely horrible human being has been the norm for sometime now.
