Actually we test people far more than other nations as in Europe

Well, let's take a look...
upload_2020-9-17_13-53-7.png

Pretty close. Only UK does more among European nations. One thing we don't do well, is test those who have died outside of medical facilities. Hence a continuing undecount of deaths.

U.S. COVID-19 deaths likely higher than reported, study shows

Sure, do provide a link that you are testing more people who have been suspected of dying from Covid 19 then other countries.

Unless, perhaps, you do not want to get in to details , an option we discussed previously.

Since most people who die from Covid have some underlying illnesses that explain their actually dying from the virus or are present due to their advanced age exact classification is of course not 100% sure for anyone.

Do you have any credible source that says those irregularities are somehow more evident in US than other countries and why that would be the case ?

Here's one state which admitted publicly

Florida hospital admits its COVID positivity rate is 10x lower than first reported

The thing to know is, here in the USA, a hospital gets $5000 extra for presuming that a patient who shows up at the ER, is COVID. This means an elderly person with a heart attack or even a car accident, they are presumed to have COVID-19. They are tested, and if tested positive, the hospital can get an extra $40,000 for treating the patient. If the patient dies, some of the hospital's as in Florida, were reporting the cause of death from COVID-19 death, rather than what actually the person. Because of this, the CDC now requires to report only deaths from COVID-19 or related to COVID-19, not for other reasons.

BTW, I got the above information from Dr. Afshine Emrani MD who is a cardiologist in LA California. The information is near the end of the video, from what I remember.

In fact, he would have done better if he had just taken the billions he got from Daddy and invested it in a good fund...

Trump didn't get billions from his father, but $1 million

Yeah, he had a better start than most of us, but so did the Kennedy's and none of them every ran a business.

The rest of your post is just opinion pieces, and they're long and boring.

So clearly they are aware of the issue and can factor correlations in when they report the cases to the world ?

They only became aware as of about three weeks ago when Florida admitted they were over reporting COVID-19.

Here in MA, the hospitals have done a good job and probably accounts for why we have one of the lowest rates in the nation.

Trump didn't get billions from his father, but $1 million

That's what Trump said. But as you know, he lies constantly.

Trump's father gave his son at least $413 million: New York Times

President Donald Trump's father gave enormous sums of money to his son over his entire life, playing a much bigger role than previously known in making the president a rich man, according to a New York Times investigation published Tuesday. According to the report, Trump was earning $200,000 a year from his father's empire by the age 3. The financial assistance increased with the years, to more than $5 million annually when Trump was in his 40s and 50s. In all, Trump received at least $413 million from his father's real estate empire. The president has said he turned a $1 million loan from his father into a $10 billion empire.

As I said, I did a lot better with my investments than Trump did with all the money he got from Daddy.

That's not billions and the amount here is speculation by the NYTs

That's not billions

That's just the amount they have been able to verify. Not all of it. Nor is his inheritance in there.

Trump blew a lot of it on stupid self-promoting ventures like Trump Airlines, Trump Steaks, and Trump casinos. How do you even lose money on a casino? Trump figured out a way.

The US rate is higher because we tests more. Other nations, especially in Europe, were only testing when the person ended up in the ER with symptoms.

Also, we have 350 million people and we're an open society.

Don't bother trying to compare with nations like Sweden which has just 10 million people, or even Canada, which has 35 million people. We have ten times the number of people than Canada has, and far larger cities and congested areas.
COVID-19 Update: September 16th, 2020

UNITED STATES
*******************************************************************
New Cases 40,154

New Deaths 1,012

CANADA
******************************************************************
New Cases 944
Adjusted (8.7 X) 8,212.8

New Deaths 5
Adjusted (8.7 X) 43.5

*******************************************************************************************************

1) Given that the United States has 8.7 times the population Canada, the adjusted figures that allow for direct comparison are 8,212.8 New Cases and 43.5 New Deaths!

2) Given that the United States shares 5250 miles of international border and Canadians attempting to enter the US illegally is not a problem, one can assume that their standards of living are approximately equivalent!

3)Given that wearing masks, social distancing and disinfectants are the only 3 strategies in the medical toolboxes of both countries, how does one account for the marked differences in new the daily cases and deaths!

4) The United Kingdom and Israel conduct more cases on a per capita basis than America and both have lower infection rates - testing is only effective when the results return in 2 days or less and that governments have invested in the trained personnel and resources required to trace the contacts of each individual testing positive!

5) Canada has a government that believes in following the science with a Prime Minister who wears a mask and practices social distancing in public - America doesn't!

This President and his supporters accuse the Democrats of trying to replace "capitalism" with "socialism" one minute in the 2020 Election, but in the next minute they are accusing private hospitals of acting like good "capitalists" by trying to maximize profits, because the Trump White House doesn't want to run a re-election campaign on this President's less than stellar record when dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic!

"JimR-OCDS" has inadvertently made quite a compelling case for a universal healthcare system in America, where medicine is not operated on the capitalist "fee-for-service" model. and without the financial incentive for hospitals to inflate their numbers and costs!

Trump and his supporters are attempting to have it both ways - accuse Biden of serving as "The Trojan Horse" for the Democrat's "socialist" agenda, while attacking the private healthcare system because the numbers of COVID-19 cases and related deaths are indefensible!

I believe we need a universal healthcare system and I opposed Trump gutting Obamacare, as it was needed and the first step toward a universal system.

FYI, I was on Romneycare after I loss my job and health insurance. It saved my life.
I was later moved to Obamacare, which was no different than Romneycare. The move was seamless.

Now I'm on medicare. So I understand the need for a universal system

What you misunderstand is, I support what Trump does that is good, but reject the bad he does.

Same goes for Biden

The difference between the two for me is, Biden is a career politician who was partly responsible for two wars, the trade deficits and of course, is yielding to radical feminism for votes.

Trump is a businessman who is use to telling employees what to do. They perform or he replaces them and this is how he's been running his administration.

He also shoots his mouth off and offends people. But of course people have attacked him first as well and he'll defend himself.
