U.S. Could Have Saved Thousands Of Lives If Lockdown Started Earlier, Study Finds



He had been. It's not rocket science. Biden, for example, had it figured out, and publicly called on Trump to get off his tail and be a president. Instead, Trump insisted that it was "controlled" and would go away "like a miracle."

And because he botched the response (largely because he dismantled the pandemic task force put together by Obama and Biden) and about 36,000 Americans died needlessly.



If it had been used, more would have died:

"Barbarian" may not have had this in mind but 33,000 American lives could be saved in the next 3 months if 94% of the population were to wear masks outside their homes, - I can provide even more references if necessary!

By not leading by example, this President and his supporters have decided that these 33,000 lives are a price that they are willing to pay in exchange for not having to suffer the indignity of wearing masks!

Maybe Dr. Fauci why early in the game he told us over and over again that we did not need masks, that they would have no effect. Then there are those people who will not use a mask and who want to go to bars, beaches and parties packed with people. Lives could be saved but people have to do their part one man, even if he is the president cannot do it for them.

Actually, the scientists and doctors who determined this, are the first team. If Trump had listened to them, as the leaders of other nations listened to their first team, we'd be over this disaster, and tens of thousands of Americans would not have needlessly died. One week of Trump's flapping around, denying what was coming, killed 36,000 people. That's his legacy.

That's what we're looking at. Hundreds of people are dying every day because Trump bungled this crisis.

Remember what a disaster Italy had? They took action instead of denying the seriousness of the pandemic or calling it "a hoax" as Trump did. Here's where they are:

That's why Americans are banned from Europe now. That's why their economies are recovering, and ours is still a basket case. Remember the "****hole country" comment Trump made? That's what he's made of America. We're so contaminated with disease, other nations won't let us travel there. That's his legacy.
