We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

"Fears" is an understatement. A new party to split the GOP would guarantee Democrats in power for the rest of my lifetime.

The GOP is already dead. It can't win by popular vote, and there's enough discouraged conservatives who will stop voting that it can no longer win by electoral. The gig is up with the GOP and everyone knows it.

I don't see such a party getting much more support than the Greens or Libertarians. Donald Trump doesn't have enough die-hard supporters to have any meaningful impact on the political landscape.

Both Dems and GOP need to learn how to talk to each other, listen to each other and compromise.

I'm frustrated with establishment Republicans too, but a pure Trumpist party isn't going to attract me at all.

I've hung with the American Solidarity Party even though it seems invisible. It might be suffering from 'failure to launch' much like the Elio car that almost made it but never actually launched. In software development we called it 'vaporware'.

So anyway, I'm frustrated by this moment in history where both of the big parties should crash and burn but they seem not to. If the Republican party crashes and burns ... great. If it's replaced by Trump ... ugh. At least that will leave room for a new centrist party. And the Democrats ... I don't know how they hang together. They should have fallen apart already. But I guess there is nothing like power to hold together a mess of a party.

I think the Dems and GOP would serve us well by shutting down. They can't talk or listen or compromise. Not any more.

Trump has so many die-hard supporters that Republican congresspersons went along with his voter fraud story when they knew it wasn’t true, just out of fear of losing their constituents. It’s why McConnel and Graham stood by him his entire presidency, even though they didn’t approve of his rhetoric or machinations. He has the whole Republican Party by a leash.

Agreed. Me and my wife already re-registered away from the GOP. I don't want to be a part of a party that won't support the people.

I would join right away and many of the 75 million people that know the election was stolen will too.

It won't last. His party would have to pick someone else to act as a leader or spokesman at some point, and its support would die.

They're going to anyway. The precedent has now been set that any election can be manipulated and forced to produce a specific result, and any evidence of said manipulation will be squashed, ridiculed, and ignored. We had our last legitimate election in 2016. Barring a popular uprising, we will never have another. Voting now is like voting in the old Soviet Union: you can vote for whichever candidate you want, but the winner has already been chosen by the Central Committee of the Party.

Oh, no more, please! I can't breathe....LOLOLOL!!! Oh, my heart! ^_^

America is at that difficult stage right now; it's too late to work within the system, but too early to start shooting people. ;)

I hope they do. I refuse to join any political party, but nothing would please me more at this juncture than to see the complete demise of both major parties.

Even if we see the demise of only one (GOP) that should be enough to destroy the Uniparty scam, which requires the facade of 2 opposing parties -

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies... is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”
― Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton's mentor at Georgetown U)
