With regards to his usage of the phrase "radical left", I wanted to give it some additional context.
(it's friday, I'm not really a bar-hopper, the GF is out of town, so I'm bored, so I decided to make a quick & dirty little graphic)
There's a large disparity between what the actual left-to-right spectrum looks like, and what the modern-day Trump supporter thinks it is.

In reality, the overwhelming majority of democrats are just a tad left of center, while the majority of pro-Trump republicans are closer to "radical right" then they are moderate. However, in their mind, they're "center right" and democrats are "radical left.
The perspectives have gotten more dramatically skewed over the past few years.
Evidence of this is how much the republicans, specifically those who are die-hard loyal to Trump, have increasing tried to squash any alternative ideas within the party and dismiss those who dare to even stray on one particular issue as a "RINO" and a "Liberal".
This is usually dictated by positions on religious/moral stances held by the majority of evangelicals. I saw a lot of it in my home state of Ohio with regards to how Trump supporters talked about guys like John Kasich and Rob Portman. Those guys are conservative...not even centrists, but full blown conservatives. However, since Portman doesn't hold the "official stance" on gays and Kasich doesn't hold the "official stance" marijuana and guns, they get labelled as "not real conservatives" and people said "they're sellouts, we need to get them out of there and get some real conservatives in" (even though Rob Portman gets a good rating from the NRA, has anti-regulatory positions, favors tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, opposes abortion, opposed ObamaCare, opposes social safety nets, etc...because he doesn't take a stance that "gays should be denied marriage rights", he got labelled "left winger" and "RINO" by Ohio Trump supporters.
When concepts like equal rights and separation of church and state are categorized as "radical left" ideas...you know the GOP has gone off the rails.
Of course, the fact that AOC got elected has given them the false ammo of "this is what all democrats are!!!"...when in reality, like I noted above, there are far more people adhering to extreme positions in the GOP than there are in the democratic party.
