I’m not sure what that question means, other than it seems to be a personal comment. You should tread carefully...
I am merely asking you to look at your own content and take an honest assessment of your content and explain to me why...
And that has been shown to be an untruth...

Members aren't allowed to do that because it's a violation of the flaming and goading rules of this site.

You mean like telling Christian Trump voters/supporters they're immoral because they voted for him?

I didn't get personal and call a Trump supporting member out by name and call them immoral. I used general terms and addressed the 'lesser of two evils' ploy and the corruption of both political parties.

Yep. It's all from the same person.

And how'd you know my real name?

Surely you can't be serious?

I am serious... and don't call me Shirley!

The point is that in two short years, there are almost more threads centered around bashing trump than all the Obama centered threads that were ever posted on this forum.
Yeah. Trump should really, really start smartening up and not acting the way he does.

That said, I would love to see any evidence to actually support this claim.

I’ll do the same thing with the Fake News Networks and the Radical Left Democrats in the General Election debates!"

...glad to see he's further watering down and exaggerating certain terms.

Funny how all he has to do is classify something "radical left" and his easily manipulated followers lap it up like a thirsty dog.

For those who care about factual classifications. Radical left would be Karl Marks or Leon Trotsky...or groups like Weather Underground or the New Black Panther Party, not US Democrats who are, for the most part, moderate, and compared to western Euro nations, probably a tad right of center.

That is laughable and of course you have no evidence whatsoever to back it up. Therefore we are through here if facts are no longer to be part of the discussion. But by the way, how did you decide on claiming half the Republican party? Flip of the coin? Or did it just sound pretty good?

More reputable polling organizations put the figure at about 20% (CNN!), 24%, 27%, and 47%. The number of Democrats who believe it was 17% in one poll.

The goal posts seem to be shifting.

With regards to his usage of the phrase "radical left", I wanted to give it some additional context.
(it's friday, I'm not really a bar-hopper, the GF is out of town, so I'm bored, so I decided to make a quick & dirty little graphic)

There's a large disparity between what the actual left-to-right spectrum looks like, and what the modern-day Trump supporter thinks it is.

upload_2019-3-8_19-53-15.png

In reality, the overwhelming majority of democrats are just a tad left of center, while the majority of pro-Trump republicans are closer to "radical right" then they are moderate. However, in their mind, they're "center right" and democrats are "radical left.

The perspectives have gotten more dramatically skewed over the past few years.

Evidence of this is how much the republicans, specifically those who are die-hard loyal to Trump, have increasing tried to squash any alternative ideas within the party and dismiss those who dare to even stray on one particular issue as a "RINO" and a "Liberal".

This is usually dictated by positions on religious/moral stances held by the majority of evangelicals. I saw a lot of it in my home state of Ohio with regards to how Trump supporters talked about guys like John Kasich and Rob Portman. Those guys are conservative...not even centrists, but full blown conservatives. However, since Portman doesn't hold the "official stance" on gays and Kasich doesn't hold the "official stance" marijuana and guns, they get labelled as "not real conservatives" and people said "they're sellouts, we need to get them out of there and get some real conservatives in" (even though Rob Portman gets a good rating from the NRA, has anti-regulatory positions, favors tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, opposes abortion, opposed ObamaCare, opposes social safety nets, etc...because he doesn't take a stance that "gays should be denied marriage rights", he got labelled "left winger" and "RINO" by Ohio Trump supporters.

When concepts like equal rights and separation of church and state are categorized as "radical left" ideas...you know the GOP has gone off the rails.

Of course, the fact that AOC got elected has given them the false ammo of "this is what all democrats are!!!"...when in reality, like I noted above, there are far more people adhering to extreme positions in the GOP than there are in the democratic party.

No there isnt.

Its not even close.

And why would they try to fool people like that?

What in the world are you babbling about? Did you miss this post where I actually looked threads that Jason (NOR YOU) were here to witness and I found over 1000 threads with Obama in the title just between 2012 and 2016?

Here it is again. Jason's search is no where near comprehensive. He is wrong. Period.
---------------------------------
Since the beginning of Christian Forums, there was 268 threads with Obama's name in the title. In the relatively short period of three years, Trump has racked up 242 threads. Even then, most of the Obama threads were about his failed policies and not about bashing him as a person.

I have no idea where you're getting your number from. I limited the threads from 2008-2016 and got bored when I reached 1000 threads.

That only goes back as far as 2012.

And you're going to need to provide evidence that all of the Trump threads are merely "bashing him as a person". Looking at threads on the most recent 3 pages:
Trump May boycott 2020 debates after DNC snubs Fox News
Positive thread.
So did Trump only help to boost Kim's image on the world stage?

" I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior…” -1 Timothy 2:1-3

We live in an age of political spite. Even seemingly devout Christians have decided it’s okay to bash our nation’s leaders with reckless abandon. “I know I’m supposed to love our president, but…” or “I can’t wait to get those politicians (choose your party) out of office in the next election!” Yet these attitudes are directly opposed to God’s plan regarding our Christian view of our nation’s leaders.

First and foremost, the apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 2 commands us to pray for our governing leaders. In fact, just about every possible word for pray was used to communicate this truth. Further, we are not to pray for their demise. We are told that we pray in order that “we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” What does this mean? We pray for our leaders so we will will live in stable society that allows us to focus on worshiping God.

Yes, we are also called in other places to pray for the salvation of others and for the wisdom of our leaders. These areas are also important. The key is to pray, not attack our nation’s leaders, whether verbally or otherwise. And lest we forget, Paul wrote these words under the reign of King Nero, a fellow historically much more difficult to live under than any president in America’s history.

When it comes to our governing leaders, God’s Word speaks clearly on where we are to begin–in prayer.

We do pray for our leaders. That doesn't mean we have to like them or agree with them.

I believe your search is including all posts with the name "Obama" and "Trump". Did you check the "titles only" box?

I've been here for 16 years so I've go a pretty good command of how to use the search function. If, instead of asking me this question, you had taken the link I have proved - twice now - you would see that "Obama" appears in every title. But you didn't even need to do that. You could just have looked at the search URL.
https://www.christianforums.com/threadloom/search?query=title:eek:bama forum:"909,909" after:2007-04-01 before:2016-11-30&tab=407&page=102
Search
Query
TITLE
Obama
2007-04-01 to 2016-11-30
Page 102.

There are 10 threads per page, so 102 pages means 1020 threads about Obama and that's not all of them for 2016-2012, which again, is only half of the search parameter I checked.

Because I don't think there are over 100,000 threads on this forum. There are over 100,000 posts on this forum.

1. Who said anything about 100,000 threads?
2. There are over 100,000 threads in just Discussion and Debate, much less the entire forum.
Discussion and Debate
Discussions: 142,228 Messages: 5,587,572
3. There are 29,125 threads in American Politics and over 1060 of them have Obama in the title.

Your are simply wrong Jason.
