There certainly could be -- and probably are -- genetic variants that make one more likely to commit murder. But if there are, they have nothing to do with immigration: we all carry some of them.

Come to think of it, there is one genetic marker that is very well established as making one much more likely to commit murder: the Y chromosome.

For the sake of completeness, there is another term for one who exhibits 3 dysfunctional character traits. It's called the "Dark Triad;"

1) A lack of empathy or compassion for others. Behavior that is similar to ASPD.
2) Machiavellianism. Using trickery to manipulate others for one's own benefit. The bad actors exhibiting this trait know exactly what they're doing, and are usually quite intelligent.
3) Narcissism. The belief that one deserves special treatment and approbation from others.

It's speculated hat persons afflicted with the Dark Triad may have decreased neuronal matter in the brain regions associated with normal socialization.
