Trump had a secret deal with Putin. That is Russia would help him in president election, if he won, Syria would be given to Russia as a payment. Here is what I wrote one year ago, when Trump won the presidency in November 2016, Russia quickly got payments next month(December 2016) It's part of payment.

In December 2018, (last month) Trump announced full retreat of Syria, that's the full payment for the deal.

Since you want to inject wild speculation. Try this on for size. Russia had all of Hillary's emails. they had raided her unprotected server and now have all the classified information that our previous Secretary of State had. This allowed Russia to make moves for world power because they could assess the relationships that the U.S. had with other players in the power world. This was fantastically valuable to the Russian Government. The Russian leader hated Hillary but could not comply with Trump's request for the missing emails because then the U.S. intelligence would know that the Russians had all the classified emails as well. If the U.S. knew that the Russians had them the value of those email would be greatly diminished. This is all total speculation but then so is everything you posted.
