Trump 'didn't expect' UN speech reaction he got

New York (CNN)President Donald Trump stepped up to the iconic dais at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday and began his speech much as he would a campaign rally: by boasting that his administration "has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country."

Many of the assembled world leaders and foreign dignitaries responded with laughter.
"I didn't expect that reaction, but that's OK," he said, laughing off the chuckles that rippled through the hall.

When I first read it, I misread "at" as "as" which made it even funnier.

Come on now; the positive reaction was specifically related to his relatively graceful admission that he did not expect the reaction to his initial wacky claim about the accomplishments of his administration.

As much as I think Mr. Trump is grossly unqualified for President- and am stunned at the judgment of American voters - I think he recovered from his zany claim rather well.

That was my first reaction when they told me Trump was going to run for president. I said what? A clown is going to run for president? I really did not think anyone would take him serious. “No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.” He really only gets himself in trouble when people take him serious.

If you look at a book published in the 50's called the naked communist they list a goal of 45 objectives to turn the US into a socialist country. This list was read into the congressional record in 1953. The entire list is almost accomplished. I do not know how connected Trump is with Russia but he seems opposed to the policy that would bring in these objectives. Perhaps he is used as a wedge to divide and bring about a civil war. Hillary was selling US weapons grade uraium to Russia while collecting donations for her foundation. The point was that UN is evil and if they are opposed to Trump then that is good for Trump.

The point I am making is that Obama was given an award for doing nothing. Trump has accomplished much in 2 years. The press is by large controlled by progressive liberals and the UN is the structure for the rise of global government. The contrast between how the last two presidents are presented to the public is the issue.
