I don't watch the media reports as much as I watch Trump. Whenever he does something outlandish or controversial, it's to distract or because he needs to shore up his base because something negative is coming. The media is starting to wise up, but for the most part they follow him right down the rabbit hole. When they finally figure out what he was distracting us from, he throws out more bait and they follow his lead again. He is good at it, most sleight of hand con men are.

We should be concerned about Russia collusion and any foreign influence on our campaigns. China has some of the best hackers. What if they get fed up over Trump's tariffs and decide they want democrats in office to oppose Trump and decide to hack voting machines to facilitate this. What has been done to secure our elections so that this doesn't happen?

Trump is not going anywhere. I don't think there will be a move to impeach unless the Mueller probe is very bad. My fear is that dem leadership actually likes having him in power to contrast good leadership with his leadership and use him to raise money and motivate voters. It's a bad strategy, short sighted imo with short term gain, long term pain, but it's been working so far. We don't have a coalition that is pro assassination, that is just a RW fantasy. Trump is not going to leave voluntarily as the presidency is most likely the only thing keeping him out of jail and a Pence pardon wouldn't be guaranteed as his hands aren't clean either.

I wouldn't put too much hope in the military. Word is they ignore most of the things he proposes. The folks around here might not believe Bob Woodward book, but I'm sure Trump does. Let's see if all those military leaders in his cabinet are still there come January first.

The thing is that his own DOJ has said there was nothing improper about the warrant and is fighting him on this. By viewing Trumps enemies as war criminals, traitors, enemy combatants, or under the law of armed conflict; Trump can walk right down the line and detain every single one of them. So Comey, Yates, Boenta, and Rosenstei signed the FISA warrants, knew that Steel was an FBI source, knew that he was paid by the DNC and Clinton campaign to create the reason for the warrant. So they all conspired to spy on American citizens. So the DNC response to the Nunes memo didn't dispute any of the facts listed. It's a 30 count endictment of the entire process.
