To be fair, some people (including some Sanders supporters) voted for him because they found Clinton to be more objectionable.

Any of those people he was going to lose, I believe he lost a long time ago. He's trying to scare people into voting for him, calling himself the law and order president, when he has flaunted our laws and norms that lead to order, and we have more unrest under him than at any other time. People are angry, but I haven't seen the narrative shift yet to him being a solution to these problems, especially as he is the one that egged them on. He was an unknown before, and people had hoped he would be moderate and rise to the dignity of the office, and that just hasn't happened. People know what to expect with both Trump and Biden.

People have stopped talking about the farmers going bankrupt and losing their business to Brazil, kids in cages, the tax cuts, the fact that the GOP is still trying to dismantle the ACA even as they tell their constituents to sign up for it since they lost employer healthcare and a whole host of other issues, but I'm sure they will be reminded between now and then. Some just want the chaos to stop.
