Stone was tried in a court, with evidence and witnesses. He was found guilty given the evidence presented.

There is no evidence that he was framed.

Depite what the legal system found, given the evidence, Trump didn't pardon Stone (meaning that Stone is still guilty) but instead Trump commutes Stone (meaning, I understand you did criminal things and were found guilty, but that's OK, go home, don't worry about prison, your my friend, you helped me win this election. Don't worry about laws, don't worry about being found guilty of crimes, I got your back)
