Trump approval rating 2 points higher than Obama for same time in office

12 points now is meaningless, we are not even close to the end of the game and Biden has not faced Trump. Right now Biden is doing a real good job of making people question his abilities and discouraging people to vote for him.

This President has managed to alienate independents, suburban women and the black community who either supported him or sat out the 2016 Election!

There simply aren't enough rural, white males without a college education ln the nation to elect Trump, so by accepting a loss in the national popular vote, once again he will be forced to obtain his majority in the Electoral College by winning Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin!

The President and the Republicans are going into this election with the full knowledge that they will be forced to resort to every dirty trick in their playbook to suppress the Democratic vote, just to stay competitive!

They may find that the majority of Americans are no longer willing to accept 4 more years of Trump if he were to win a contested election without the poular vote!

When they see what the alternative truly is and what a disaster it would be to have a president who has apparent cognitive issues and would lead the nation in a direction that will become obvious that the people do not want to go, they will have no alternative but to vote for Trump regardless of how much they dislike him personally. It is fundamentally going to come down to which one will make my life better or do it the least harm.

Apparently neither this President nor his Attorney General can get their "cognative" ducks in a row to explain as to who fired the lead attorney for the DOJ office in South Manhattan who is currently investigating Trump's associates!

AG Barr says it was the President and the President says it was AG Barr - this is just another in the onging series of Friday night dismissals of those on Trump's enemies list!

Is there anyone who Trump fired that the msm did not try to find and promote some narrative of how Trump was just protecting himself and was being totally unfair, and abusing his power. How do Trump supporters "square the circle" when Attorney General Barr asserts that he had the President's authority to dismiss DOJ US attorney Geoffery Berman but the President then states that he was never involved in yet another Friday night firing of those on Trump's enemies list?

For those members of good standing in the Trump "cult of personality," it has nothing to do with truth based on the facts and everything to do with "blind faith" and unquestioning loyalty to the leader!

My conclusion would be that the AG wanted to terminate Dennison and gave him an easy out but Dennison when hard line and refused so the AG had to use the power of the President to terminate him. Trump was only involved to the extent that he supported the actions of the AG with his executive powers. Who knows what actually went on behind the closed doors but the President can terminate anyone in the executive branch at anytime for any reason.

The reason the investigation was terminated was because the states refused to supply the necessary information, probably because they wanted to keep a blind eye to the problem seems to be a popular thing to do, if something is not consistent with a belief system just ignore it and maybe it will just go away.

It should also be noted that health authorities are predicting that the 2020 Election could occur in the middle of a 2nd wave of the pandemic, jeopardizing the lives of millions of voters - I wouldn't put it past Trump that after blocking mail-in voting he would then proceed to use COVID-19 as an excuse to postpone the election rather than face certain defeat at the polls!

Either AG Barr and/or the President has been caught in a boldface lie - if the Democrats had done this Republicans would be screaming for blood from the rooftops!

Given that US Attorney Berman can't be legally terminated except by the President, I'm inclined to believe Barr's version!

Now that the Republican Senate is all set to investigate the Obama Administration just in time to coincide with the 2020 Election, one wonders as to why they have no interest in exercising their constitutionally mandated oversight responsibility by questioning yet another in a series of Friday night dismissals?

This time it involves the termination of the lead DOJ attorney who was actively investigating the President's affairs and those of his associates - just as was the case where they failed to subpoena Bolton's testimony, the Senate has no interest in corruption when it occurs in the full light of day under their noses!

Given that Biden is 12 points ahead in the polls, a fact that Trump supporters refuse to acknowledge, this "basement" strategy that could take him all the way to the White House!

This President and his supporters just don't get it, Trump is his own worst enemy and the more he seeks public attention and becomes "unhinged" by the prospect of losing, the more he alienates the voting public - all Biden need do do is to remain calm, collected, sound presidential and watch Trump "self-destruct!"

All states that have agreed to comply are withholding some details the commission sought and are releasing only information considered public under state law. who can say maybe it was obvious that the fight to get the information was not worth it at that point.
