As many have stated, had Obama heaped 1/10 of the praise on Kim Jong Un that Trump has, we would still be hearing about it to this day, as they would have called him a traitor and a coward.
And rightfully so as that is the behavior of a coward and a traitor!

It would be like FDR remarking on what a beautiful country the Nazis had and what a great and respectable leader they had in Adolf Hitler.

That's not even an exaggeration... Kim Jong Un is probably the closest thing we have to a modern day Hitler in the world.

And our president just loves the guy!

Well Jim you have proven yourself to be a clown bully so what do you expect?
What a little baby.

In a Trump thread this comment is hilariously ironic.

By popular demand your favorite by fair and balanced Fox News.

NO DEAL: President Trump abruptly walked away from negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam with no deal and headed back to Washington, saying the U.S. is unwilling to meet Kim's' demand of lifting all sanctions on the rogue regime without first securing its meaningful commitment to denuclearization ... Trump, speaking in Hanoi, said the U.S. asked Kim to do more regarding his intentions to denuclearize and “he was unprepared to do that.” “Sometimes you have to walk,” Trump said.

Gosh, Kim refused to give up the only thing making his nation worthy of negotiating with in exchange for one of Donald's pie-in-the-sky promises?

Who'd have thunk Donald could fail to sell the Brooklyn Bridge?

Seen any NoKo missles over Japan lately?

Where was I reading about a president being played by a tin-pot dictator?
You mean, other than the last time they fired over Japan right After Trump threatened them... while Trump was meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister...

Direct quote from Chucky Schumer.
A deal that fell short of complete denuclearization would have only made North Korea stronger and the world less safe.

From the lips of Nancy Pelosi.
It's good that President Trump did not give Kim anyting from the little bit that Kim was proposing.

And yet the crying over Trump continues. Reminding us older ones of a broken record.

Let me try this in words you might understand -- the words of Ben Shapiro:

"It seems never to have occurred to Trump that while he was trying to flatter Kim into giving up the only factor maintaining Kim’s power – his nuclear program – Kim was simultaneously trying to stroke Trump’s ego to get him to give him concessions. And it worked. To this point, Kim has offered no real concessions; Trump has now met with the world’s worst dictator twice, cancelled a joint US-South Korean naval exercise, and now explained that he takes Kim at his word that he didn’t know about the North Korean regime’s murder of American citizen Otto Warmbier – even though Trump himself hosted Warmbier’s family at the 2018 State of the Union Address, where he talked about the “ominous nature of this regime.”

"It was a pathetic moment. And Trump’s strategy, which would only have been worth it if the United States had received something in return, has been exposed for the pathetic play-acting it always was."
Trump Was Right To Walk Away From The Table. But His Overall North Korean Strategy Is A Debacle.

I read the comments to his Facebook post on this. He was being roasted by the cultists.

Whatever you wish to call it? We call it support for Trump from the other side. The far other side!

Neither of those were words of support. Schumer, in particular, was thankful that Trump didn't give Kim more concessions in exchange for magic beans like he did after the Singapore meeting.

Imagine Donald's own crying -- all those fake bone spurs and he ends up getting shot down in Hanoi after all...

I agree. Heaping praise upon dictators and despots to curry favor with them is pretty weasel like behavior. Trump's off the cuff comments about Kim Jong Un (such as how he likes how much "respect" he commands from his citizens and wishes the US were more like that) show what he aspires to. Trump doesn't want to be President of the US with all of its burdensome rules and those pesky checks and balances. He wasn't to be a CEO/king, where his word is the law of the land, and people bow to him or face the consequences. This attitude is on display by him all of the time, yet his supporters still try to claim he is "for the people" with a straight face.
