Must be a slow day for new things to complain about concerning the President.

Actually this is not a new thing. We don't need any new things given that we already have far too many old things.

"President Trump is the greatest president for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America... and the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God’

Is that all we have? Did I miss the rest?

And as opposed to the op, it is the Jewish people that love him.
Unless we have something with trumps name on it, there seems to be noting here. That wasn't even written by Trump.

This was over a year ago. Still true, but my point is that in all this time his supporters, particularly Christian ones, don't care about his blasphemy - they didn't care when it happened and haven't cared since. He's always blasphemous and they defend his blasphemy (just look at the other posts in this thread).

Christian ones, don't care about his blasphemy -

What blasphemy? Are you Christian, do you care...about the truth?

Please show it to us in context, or so we can see that Trump said it.

If its true, fine, but wouldn't it be a good idea to show us the blasphemy before we accuse someone of such?

He thanked someone for their kindness in saying the Jews love Trump and think he's the best president for the Jewish people, loving him as much as a king and thinking he's as good for Jews as the second coming...

Someone else's words and Trump simply thanked him (and the Jewish people who support him) for the great compliment.

I would personally argue that Trump is better for the Jewish nation-state than the second coming of God because then they'd be under Judgement, now they just have an American president trying to foster peace between them and the enemies of their nation.

So there is that... but to say Trump was blasphemous is to misread the whole of it...

Trump was so proud of being called the second coming of God he retweeted the blasphemy. His people adore him no matter what he does.

Hmmm. Must be a slow day for new things to complain about concerning the President. Wait until the debate tomorrow; he'll say SOMETHING, I'm sure, during a 90 minute debate.
It IS a slow day.
He's only said one foolish thing. But it's still early and things can change....

Why start now?

Blasphemy, as an insult, isn't much worse than Mass Murderer, Nazi, or the other names they've employed.

It's helpful to keep in mind that the accusation doesn't mean anything to the one employing it; the whole idea is to just use the nastiest or most hurtful word possible.

He thanked someone for their "very nice words" and then quoted that person's words.

Do you see no blasphemy in the words of that person? Seriously??? That person said more than what you're saying here - are you failing to correctly quote that person to avoid dealing with the person's actual words and message? It's pretty obvious to me that you are.

Someone else's words and Trump simply thanked him (and the Jewish people who support him) for the great compliment.
So you find that person's words to be simply "a great compliment" and not blasphemous? Seriously?

I would personally argue that Trump is better for the Jewish nation-state than the second coming of God because then they'd be under Judgement, now they just have an American president trying to foster peace between them and the enemies of their nation.

To say Trump was not blasphemous is to be either ignorant of what "blasphemy" actually is or to intentionally excuse the blasphemy. Either way, that's bad. Shows a severe lack of discernment.

What was the original sin committed by Lucifer - do you even know what that was? What were his words??? That should be all you need to know to understand the blasphemy of Trump and his worshiper in this story.

And this is one story. Trump uses the Lord's name in vain and uses vulgarity all the time. You don't think that's blasphemous?

No, I dont think vulgarity is blasphemy (vulgar language is the language of the common man)... Why was Jesus accused of blasphemy in the Bible?

Using God's name in vain or blasphemy is to declare your are of God, when your not. CINO are using God's name in vain every single time they claim to belong to Christ... declaring yourself the son of God, if your not, is blasphemy.

Saying "Jesus!" When you stub your toe, or thanking someone who believes your a better king than any other in history isn't blasphemous, unless your declaring yourself to be better than the Christ, or Christ Himself - which Trump didn't say...

Trump isn't going to correct people, because he doesn't call himself or present himself as anyone's Pastor, but rather, he claims to represent ALL people regardless of life choices or faith politically.

This President is already on video claiming that he doesn't seek God's forgiveness from sin because he just tries hard not to make mistakes - any other public figure making such a statement would be immediately denounced by the nation's conservative Christians, but for "Teflon-Trump," his core of "true believers" either choose to look the other way or circle the wagons and try to invent excuses to excuse the "inexcusable!"
