It’s a very weird process when thought about. The spirit that is human, joined to the Holy Spirit, learns obedience to the Holy Spirit. Meanwhile. the objective of the joining is to learn to function w/o the things that will be no more i.e.: flesh and knowledge. The body is to be adopted to become a spiritual container. Knowledge that is wrought out to become wisdom will remain. An interesting process that is accomplished by setting aside flesh plus not tying oneself to the knowledge of good and evil, and by clinging to a power higher than anything we can do alone, lays aside that which is passing away, to rise above earthly things.
