Arwen, I have a friend that lives in Blairsville, I think near Pittsburgh. That is a beautiful skyline.

Yep, Blairsville is not too far from where I grew up.

Here's my favorite building in Pittsburgh. It's PPG Place, usually called the castle building.

Here is the Duquesne Incline. Mt. Washington is on the south side of the city, and once upon a time there were about 10 of these things that were used to transport people downtown. There are 2 still in use.

This is PNC Park, home of the Pirates. This is a beautiful ballpark - too bad the team is not doing so beautifully. I love going to night games.

And Heinz Field, home of the Steelers

And another one of my favorite places, Phipps Conservatory. Awesome plants!

There's a lot to be said about the country! Yes, I've been to the rink a few times and have made a fool of myself. Thanks!

Those cars that transport people look like they'd be a blast to ride on. I love night games at ballparks, looks like a beautiful veiw from any seat. That conservatory..oh my gosh that is beautiful. You have a beautiful city. Excited to see the rest of the state.

Here are some pics of my playground - the natural beauty of western PA.

This is Ohiopyle State Park. It's known for the Class IV rapids for whitewater rafting. No, I've not gotten up the courage to try it yet. I'll stick to the safe camping, biking and hiking!

This is Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright's house built for the local department store magnate. It's built with a stream running through the house - awesome!

On a more somber note, here is the temporary memorial for Flight 93, also in western PA.

And, I can't resist, a pic of my alma mater, Penn State, in central PA

Here is a pic of the Indian River which has its mouth in Millsboro. This river runs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.
