I may not agree with everything she says, but I thought she was
being very consistent in the position she took which subsequently got
her suspended:

"On Friday’s episode of ‘The View,’ she told the audience she was
pro-choice.

‘I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here
and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think
the government should decide what women do with their bodies,’
she said. ‘I can sit here and say that, as a Republican and I can
say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of
my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.’"

Yeah I've been quite disappointed. I don't think you should suspend or fire someone for their personal views and displaying their right to free speech. She didn't hurt anyone.

She's a divisive shrew whose commentary is long on outrage and short on insight. The only difference between her and every other person spouting off into their camera phones is that she's hot. I'm ok with her losing her gig permanently.

Yeah, her delivery is very "in-yo-face", which I personally find off-putting
(though admittedly relatable at times). I feel in-yo-face about some
things too, though I try to soften the delivery of my message if and when
it ever sees the light of day. :)

But I admit I was impressed with her consistency on the limited-government
concept as it relates to the pro-choice concept.

Still better than anyone on CNN or MSNBC. I'm hoping the rumors are true and she gets a gig at Fox News to replace Megyn Kelley

I'm not a huge fan of Megyn Kelley, but Lahren doesn't have a fraction of her brains or talent.

It helps to remember that The Blaze is the property of Glenn Beck. An avowed Mormon who's behavior has been going round the bend for years. The inconsistency in this decision against this woman and her personal observation isn't surprising in light of that.

Ms.Lahren has been vocally opposed to feminism and other hot button topics that otherwise endear her to the Beck ideology of proper reporting and far right politics. This comment was her personal opinion and in my view he had no right to suspend her. She's right. Government has no place in a woman's womb.

Nobody is in her body. To protect the innocent is a legitimate role of government.

What does that have to do with her private employer taking this action over her personal beliefs?

Yes, it probably could be said that she was being consistent, but at the same time she isn't what she purports to be--a Conservative.

She's still young, I'd be a little disappointed if she wasn't a bit liberally minded on some things. As the saying goes, if you are not a liberal at 25, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 35 you have no brain.
