Tomorrow is our 34th wedding anniversary and on Tuesday it is my wife's birthday, so a double blessing coming up in the next few days.

We ended up at A&E today, small problems that need sorting. Just want to get home now.

Totally understandable, I hope by now you are back home. Don't forget to care for your physical needs too. Sometimes we are the last priority, which also is understandable.

I am grateful for the doctors who care. Peter had been kept in hospital as he has an infection brewing somewhere.

I am grateful to be able to go out in the fresh air when so many are unable to do this.

I went for a bus ride into town yesterday, but it has only just dawned on me how blessed my wife and I are when we we were guided to move to these beautiful islands 30 years ago. We left England July '90 and have never looked back.

Feeling a bit easier about going shopping now that face masks are compulsory, and also how we are adapting to the 'new normal'. Also pleased though that we don't have to wear them just out walking.

I am thankful that some grocery stores nearby offer (daily) an early morning shopping hour for seniors and others who are vulnerable. If I go at the beginning of the week, during that hour, there are never any lineups or crowds so I'm able to get what we need and then leave.

I'm thankful for the neighbours who have let me pray for them, and for answered prayer.

Thankful for the autumn weather.

I am thankful for all the beautiful colours of autumn.... in particular a beautiful maple tree that is ablaze with red, orange and yellow just outside in our front courtyard.

I'm grateful for answered prayer for a neighbour and another neighbour's sister, both of whom had cancer and both seem to be doing well. Thank you Lord.
