eish you know i see to many fights of catholic and protestant is big shame too much hatred, but they never want to say is rich vs. poor. its because it rich fighting.

you see when you have AIDS and you are dying and you are homeless and your children have been taken away from you and your wife leave you for (a richer man) and your digestive system is fall to pieces and when people say "You stink" or "Get a job!" and your family tell you to get lost and disown you

    you know what my friends.

    You give up on life.

in tribal community it very important the family very very very important to build on the bottom not on the top, so we can have people to rely on when the devil take everything away, because all this belong to him.

me too yes i am oft comfort in what i have, but i know one day he come and take it away maybe make me very sick and then i must say to God "Lord please help" please to help me hopefully i faith strong

but is a very very huge responsible on not just baptist community but all catholic, anglican, you know everything to make a stand and say

"you know for what, we are fed up with all this materialism 90% of tithe go to homelessness and 10% to homelessness as well" Afrterall tithe is basic an institution to how money is used in Christianity.

many forget tho in baptist community is very almost royal heritage so i know in me i believe ordained minister must be ordained to help homeless i cannot say he must not get wage. is choice of the small community how to run.

but me not afraid to say it is wrong very immoral and evil to ignore homeless and not afraid to say to speak up

you see for many traditional community they take offend very easy and think you don't like them, but i learn very early is the rich, the rich community is loved and cherished by the devil, where money is, love is, the devil is, and if you want to play there, you playing in the devil's territory. it comes with the territory. you bring your beliefs into another zone of beliefs establish over many years demons and ghosts, is very dangerous. and demons are not like hitler. demons control many hitlers.

maybe you can say oh well you say most baptist are rich therefore i am saying you all wrong and go to a very bad place. no that is not fair. i am saying that most movements have the rich and the most of the rich is evil. and people that want to make war and break families up want us to focus on the cultures and pick at each other culture and heritage. no the poor are more important. every line of greatness has some root in poor community and their inspiration that natural instink to live.

why because they too scared of the poor? how can you have money but scared of the poor man? with money you can all together destroy corruption and make peace very easy, but too much selling out. don't want make money the hard way but the easy way.

also most of money circulating world is blood money make from many wars, slavery, rape, fraud and so on. keeping in with tradition, would you accept money that had been payed to a hit man to kill? a rapist to rape? a tyrant to pillage? a king to destroy a country? a master to enslave a community? a serial killer? money has touched many hands. there is many many corruption lots everywhere always. so much empire destroyed so much prostitution divorce and evil. this world run parrelel to a spiritual universe stronger more established.

Do you realize a portion of the money you have and have had has been shared with the devil? So how much do you really know about the rule of this world and how careful are you? What precautions do you take? What percentage of your life planning goes towards empowering poorer communities? What is the second most important thing to you besides Jesus?

NB: If i say anything to offend the members please tell me i will omit.

Yes, amen. Grace giving is always a wonderful thing. God delights in giving that is not just fulfillment of the law.

I believe you have it half right. I was homeless myself for 8 years before I learned to drive a truck. Long enough to know that people don't just wake up one day and decide to sleep on the ground or eat out of dumpsters as a career move. I remember having the mistaken idea that because I wasnt rich that made me a good person. The truth is that God does bless people with success so that they can help the homeless, even provide jobs. Its not about what you have, it's what you do with it. I also don't believe that giving to the poor or homeless is the only way to honor God. I certainly would never expect someone to neglect their children for example to give as much of their income as I do being that mine are grown. And then again it would be hard for me to cook and clean for a new mother or help an elderly neighbor or even volunteer in the community if my 18 wheeler won't even fit in the parking lot.

Second Timothy 3 vs. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God ,and is profitable for doctrine , for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

There is a difference between tithes and offerings, tithes are obedience to God. Malachi ch. 3. Giving offerings to people in need we should do as well, God loves a cheerful giver. Instead of giving all our money to the poor God has made this provision of tithes for his church. When we give to the church we give God the glory and not ourselves. We give in secret he rewards us openly. Try to propose a mission fundraiser for your cause with the church , hold donation drives yard sales ect. If your church thinks giving to the poor or reaching the unsaved for Christ is wrong because of their choices in life, LEAVE and carry out your mission else ware.

Yes one day we all die and loose everything...

You half right sister. It not that poor people are good, it that more good poor people than good rich people. And not that giving to poor only way of honor God, but is the best way.

Also in religion a lot very stingy people. I know too much homeless complain ministers not help them. So as far tith concern, is useless waste of time.

You see my brother when you as an individual support the restriction on the distribution of wealth to poorer communities to keep rich communities richer you basical rob yourself of humanity, dignity and pride.

You as human being and christian have duty, no not to church, but to self community and to God.

Church is invisible. 9 time out of 10 nobody ever no church, cus church like God invisible.

Are you suggesting that we fire all the preachers, then shut down all of the church run organizations like the orphanages, nursing homes, medical clinics, over sea ministries, counciling services, children bible camps, soup kitchens, employment services, shelters, disaster relief, ....ect, and just hand all of our cash over to the poor?
This is not what the bible says to do. It says:

Deut. 26:12. When you have finished paying the complete tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite,to the stranger,to the orphan and the widow, that they may eat in your towns, and be satisfied.

Is. 58:66ff. Is this not the fast which I choose,to loosen the bonds of wickedness,to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and break every yoke? Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into the house; when you see the naked,to cover him,and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

Luke 12:33. "Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves purses which do not wear out,an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near, nor moth destroys."

Luke 3:11. And [John the Baptist] would answer and say to them,"Let the man with two tunics share with him who has none, and let him who has food do likewise."

Years ago before LBJs war on poverty, before entitlements before well fare, it was churches ministering to families. It still exist today but not as widespread we have multi church food drives and food pantries, lastyear we did a clothing drive. We have many homeless here as well, giving to them is a blessing to me, some church pastors won't do it they say oh there just gonna by booze with the cash. I could care less about what they think! Paul said charity is a more treasured gift than all. Be a worker for those in your community rally the troops and if a church won't help dust your feet and move on God bless

I hate to say but in fund raising oftentimes you get more help from business people and unsaved people than your local church.

yes you have duty to your church as well, your church has a duty to God and the spreading the gospel. Not all church's are inclusive, some do great works in prisons , to the poor , to crack babies and to people with Aids you just have to seek them out

Thithing is no longer something we practice, as it was for the Jews to support the temple and its ministries.

However, if you were someone who did believe in that, then wouldn't the most sensible thing be to compromise and give to church run, Gospel missions to homeless people with AIDS?

Eish you make big mistake because you not read me proper.

Is not about church and humangaterian. It's about nobolities/the rich as individual giving to poor. Forefitting the urge/duty/feeling to give all to an organization, but rather to individual.

CHurch alway say individual individual personal personal, but run like opposite.

So not say shut down fire, that is up to local community if to vote out a minister or change creed, up to them. I cannot interfere. How can i? If people want to do it they way, i leave them. Waste of time.

But appealing to rich on larger scale make sense to urge them to be less focus on corporate body.

How you want to entereperit scripture is your choice. Important to first use common sense tho.
