  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

There are people and organizations that promote reducing the human population. If people suggest human lives be taken, either old or babies or any age or class, how is it they think they are exempt themselves. Should they not lead by example if they insist in this wrong philosophy?

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

Anyone that promotes the taking of lives of old people, babies or etc. One example I googled is here

"Those attending included Warren Buffett, Ted Turner, George Soros, and David Rockefeller, Jr. What did they deem the world’s biggest threat? They each gave a 15-minute presentation on their primary concern for the planet. “Taking their cue from Gates, they agreed overpopulation was a priority,”

That's just a silly conspiracy, power. Don't believe everything that you read.

Consider places like Haiti or Central America with very high fertility rates and people trying to migrate away. It is the result of lust. Such high population growth resulted in poverty and suffering. I would not oppose the efforts of people to reduce lust and out of control birth rates by education, self control and birth control.

I would oppose war and murder as ways to reduce population.

Are you sure that its fair and reasonable to blame the victims
of Western imperialism for their poverty, nothing racist in saying
    they are morally weak?

When an island nation’s fertility rate is 2.8 children per woman, then they are likely poor. The fish do not procreate fast enough to fill the sea. Arable land is limited. Why blame it on imperialism? Haiti has local Black majority rule. One website states Haiti is 80% Catholic. Some Catholics are against birth control.

Niger has the highest fertility rate in the world with 6.8 children per women. Is that lust or is that imperialism?

Perhaps you know nothing of the history of Haiti,
starting with how a population from Africa happens to be
    there?

The slave revolt the harsh sanctions by all the western powers?
    Poppa Doc and Baby Doc?

The entire situation there, race, religion, language etc is the
    product of western capitalist imperialism.

Its not moral bankruptcy on anyones part except the
    imperialists.

The situation in parts of Africa is not good either. You might blame it on their tribal problems going back centuries.

Catholics oppose only artificial birth control. Spacing children via abstinence is fine. Abstaining in order to afford a couple of Beemer's is not. Two commands given to our first parents: be fruitful and multiply, and tend the garden.

    I might.
Though no part of Africa escaped the imperialist assault.

But then as Haiti and central American countries are the places mentioned
I'd not seek to change the subject.

Fact is all those countries named have been the victims of capitalist
abuse over the course of many years.

To then say they are actually the victims of their own moral
corruption strikes me as being what some Americans might
call "insensitive". To say the least.

They should not lead by example but stop suggesting or thinking murder is acceptable.

The U.S. recovered from British imperialism.

Did you notice Africa has suffered Islamic imperialism?

My mother told me Catholics oppose artificial birth control as deprives babies the chance of being born. Haiti is an example of a population explosion. Charity workers are not safe there.

Funny, since a Catholic helped develop the pill.

I don't care what method people use for birth control, but we need more of it to slow the rate of population growth.

As if the Americans were anyhing but British imperialists
themselves. The actual locals were massacred and
whats left of them are leading tragic lives.

    Africa, Islam, the USA.

I will take the ongoing dodge as tacit recognition
that the social problems in Haiti and central America
are a direct consequence of moral turpitude
on the part of Western imperialism.

We in this former colony are of course aware of
Queen Victoria ( send her victorious, happy and glorious)
and her role as figurehead for grand scale dope dealing.

In the West, its hard for people to take any responsibility.
    See "lust".

So, the imperialists populated the island with slaves, imposed a
religion that makes population control a sin.
    You are getting the idea.
