    Romans 3:
    1
What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?
2 Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God.

    John 10:
    34
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are gods?
35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture
    cannot
    be broken),
36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, You are blaspheming,
because I said, I am the Son of God?

    2 Timothy 3:
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

What advantage has those born again from above? Much in every way!

    2 Corinthians 3:
14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted
in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Yes, there was something good about the Jews, but it was from God, not themselves (Ro 3:2).
It was a great favor to have the law/word of God.
However, they are now lost, too, by rejecting the one whom God has sent (Ro 3:3).

But God's plan is not negated because they refused it.
God is glorified in judging sin (Ro 3:4).

And according to Paul's revelation from Jesus Christ personally, in the third heaven, Israel's destiny is to be grafted back into the one olive tree
of God's people with the Church, IF they do not persist in unbelief (Ro 11:30).

The outside Jewish is observations and not what Paul was teaching,(There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.) But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Even the temple is in us not made by hands, the kingdom is not visible to mortal out side beliefs.

The kingdom of God is not earthly, Jesus refused the earthly kingdom sought by the Jews (Jn 6:15).
The kingdom of God is spiritual, within (Lk 17:21) the hearts of men where Jesus Christ rules and reigns.

And God being kind of bright, did not leave any foundational ideas to
one author. If God considers it important, then more than one
author covered it. If not, then it's not foundational.

I noticed that the scriptures that tend to divide Christians on this side or that have little to no backing in the rest of the Bible.

So that rule is a summation of these passages:

    Romans 14:19
So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

    Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

    Matthew 5:9
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

    Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

    Romans 12:18
If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

    Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

    1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

    John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

    Hebrews 12:14
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

    Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

    Psalm 4:8
In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

    Romans 8:6
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

    1 Peter 3:11
Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

    James 3:18
And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

    1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

    Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

    Psalm 34:14
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

    Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

    Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    Psalm 29:11
May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!

    Proverbs 12:20
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy.

    Romans 14:19
So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

I appreciate your concern for peace among the brethren and controversy over what you perceive as minute,
but the Scriptures you have posted do not equate to the personal rule you have laid down.

Declaring the texts not "foundational" does not solve the problem.
It is no better to argue the "foundational" than it is to argue the "minute."

The issue is correct interpretation, not "foundational" vs. "minute," and that is determined by its harmony with all Scripture,
not by the volume of its backing.

Nor does the amount/volume of backing in the Scriptures determine the truth of any Scripture.
How many times must it be stated before it is true? Once!

Many times in a variety of ways from different authors.
    Never once.

And actually, only from the hearts of all men. Not even scripture.

So. . .not everything taught in Scripture is true unless it is stated in a variety of ways from different authors.

    "All Scripture is God-breathed. . ." (2Tim 3:16)

    Did God get your memo?

Just a reminder here. The NT canon (a collection of writings that was voted on and assembled in the 4th century) did not exist at the time that the texts in the canon were written. Therefore any claims that the NT is referring to the canon is highly questionable. It was not in existence at that time.

Yes, Paul's statement speaks to the enduring value of the scriptures (OT) for
    "instruction in righteousness".
It is folly to disregard them, as Paul's teachings are essentially a commentary on them.
He did not abolish the Law, he gave inspired comprehension, that we may be established
in them by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Those who are opposed to NT doctrine for their own agenda oppose the Holy Spirit.

What do you mean when you say that Paul "did not abolish the Law"? I may, or may not agree, based on your definition of "the Law". (capital "L")

    Romans 3:21 NIV
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

Just a reference to ten verses down...
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary,
    we establish the law.

As well as this familiar verse:
Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come
    to destroy but to fulfill.
Must at the very least include:
Luke 24:44 Then He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while
I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in
the Law of Moses and Prophets and Psalms concerning Me.

    Okay, good.
You define "the Law" as the books of the Law. (the Pentateuch) Not to be confused with "the law" that God gave to the Israelites through Moses.

    Galatians 3:23-24 NIV
Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.

A significant portion of the Pentateuch consists of Memorials and Remembrances. Fourteen times
in Deuteronomy alone, the people are told to 'remember'= zakar-literally perpetuate a memory.
In other words, the importance of the fathers to pass on a remembrance of the mighty deeds of
the Lord had done on their behalf.

Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old,
Consider the years of many generations.
    Ask your father, and he will show you;
Your elders, and they will tell you.

This is reflected in Paul's instructions to Timothy:
2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses,
commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

The NT portion of our Bible plays a pivotal role in perpetuating the remembrance of the Lord.
"Do this in remembrance of Me".
