I know what sin is, but I started to be super addicted to lust since 4 years ago, I knew it was wrong but I never really had a relationship with Jesus or really studied his word. Then just last year, I prayed for him to change my life, I started to change, yet I still can’t stop with my addiction to pornography. It is like an on and off thing. I want to change please help me.

An important thing is to always remember our neighbors ( fellow people in general) to practice charity and prayer for them ( & ourselves). This is the basic instruction of the Lord in Matthew 6:1-13. Just do what you can as you go. Read further into the New Testament as you can & read the Old Testament later. The Lord actually sums up most of the old in His Commandments ( see Matthew 22:36-40, Matthew 7:1-12). See also Romans 13:8-10.

Our struggles will vary in this. I pray yours will be brief and that you bear fruit as the Lord calls us to. Personally ( I am 60) I still struggle but others much less and I believe Paul wrote chapters like Philippians 3:1-21 for cases like myself.

Continue contemplating on Christ and his holiness, read thr Bible everyday, grow in your prayer life and make sure you are part of a Bible believing church that always preaches the gospel.

Have a short prayer in wording that you can mutter (intentionally) in your head all the time in addition to your regular session. I use Glory Be's.

Hey my friend. Have faith, for God has given you the victory in Christ Jesus! We all have had or are having issues.

If our phone, laptop, friends, refrigerators, TV, etc.; etc. offend thee cut it off. For it is better to suffer loss then to burn.
