I totally agree. But, whatever reaches them with ACTUAL TRUTH is ok, but if an artist is spouting off heresy that they think is ok, that's bad.
This is why, imho, that a kid should be in a good youth group. Not that that will stop the issue, but if the youth minister is sound in theology it can help.
Some youth minsters can take a song...and as a bible study teach with group participation what lines are not sound theologically.
