realize that the book of Revelation was written 2,000 years ago and John was told not to seal the book but TO SHEW HIS SERVANTS THE THINGS WHICH MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS.

This book was written for US. And we must understand that at Christs' death, the first seal had been broken:

As I explained earlier, the white horse is symbolized as the Holy Ghost:
The second horse is war.
The third horse is famine.
The fourth horse is death and hell. (most likely the release of satan and the forming of the beast)
The fifth seal is the great tribulation or HOLOCAUST. That has an appointed time of (2) separate events= as explained by the souls crying under the alter and God telling them to REST UNTIL THEIR FELLOW BRETHREN ARE KILLED AS THEY WERE.

It is my belief that were are in the midst of the fifth seal and that the GREAT TRIBULATION which involves the slaughter of millions of christians, will be eerily similiar to what happened in WWII and the holocaust.

Who has the military capability to kill the millions of American and European Christians?
No nation on earth has the ability to do that.

Willis, yes I know. That same truth has been going through my mind for several years, and it takes ((a lot)) to believe that the USA could ever be overthrown. It is an impossible thought. And this fourth and final beast kingdom is described in Daniel as being EXCEEDINGLY TERRIBLE.

How will this happen? I don't know, but (when it may happen) can possibly be explained to us in Daniels end time vision of the goat and the ram. ==After the goat (America) destroys the ram (Iraq, syria/iran) it's "great horn" is broken. And when that happens, four (kingdoms, nations) stand up for it, but it will not reign in the same power as before.

It is likely that this would be the time of "antichrist" to then rise up to power, and destroy what John sees in Revelation as "the fall of"babylon".
THEN shall come "a time of GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, nor shall ever be". scary, yes.

The goat in Daniel 8 is clearly identified in the same chapter as Greece (Alexander the Great). See verse 20 and 21 to see this, and that "the two horns [of the ram] are the kings of Media and Persia".

The four wings represented the four generals under him who commanded his army, and that he went so fast it was almost like he "flew".

But then it said it was broken up into four kingdoms. This is exactly what happened: on his deathbed, these generals asked him who should rule in his stead, and he told them to battle it out. But "when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and for it came up four notable ones..four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation.."

These generals fulfilled that prophecy by deciding instead to divide the empire into four kingdoms among themselves. Hah!

Then follows the "little horn", in the "latter times.."

This is just a little bit. However, Revelations 17 and 18 is clearly referring to the USA: "..the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies".. Who else? There's plenty more.

And don't buy into the cover story that Russia went belly up. Hah! Did you notice that the perpetrators of the farcical theatrical "coup" there were completely exonerated by their kangaroo Supreme Court?

truthteller, Daniels vision was not meant for Alexander the great; it is an END TIME VISION.
Even Daniel didn't understand it. If you read chapter 8, you will see that the goat (America) COMES FROM THE WEST ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH AND TOUCHES NOT THE GROUND. Military force. The goat destroys the Ram (Iraq/syria/iran) and waxes VERY GREAT. This is happening now.
BUT when the goat is STRONG his notable great horn is BROKEN. This breaking of the horn would most likely be timed correctly to the fall of Babylon (America) because Daneil tells us that this is when the antichrist or (fourth beast) then rises to power, as does Revelation.
Four (nations) stand up for it bringing with it, the little horn which waxes EXCEEDING GREAT towards the south, the east and the pleasant land. Here is when the little horn shows himself to the world as being God, and the daily sacrifice or free worship of Jesus Christ is removed and taken away.

And that head is most likely the wounded country that shall destroy babylon.

And they worshipped the dragon (satan) which gave power to the beast and they worshipped the beast saying; who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

The scenario of America becoming weaker is somehow possible but we have HUGE COMPLICATION here. You ASSUME AMERICA is alone here.

America will never be alone IF ATTACKED by Islamic forces. America will be helped by Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Italy , Spain possible even Mexico for economc reasons etc. Germany and France would come in later

I presently see only two political possibilities for America (my beloved nation) if it were to remain on the world scene that is if it is not that Babylon of Revelation.

First of all the Republicans seem to want America to be the Worlds dominating political entity. This direction will get America into squirmishes that may well cause Russia and/or China to put us back in our place, as it were. This senerio will give power to European nations but not like the example below.

However the Democrats wants us to be in union with France and Germany (EU). This would boost the political, economic and military might of Europe beyond any political entity that history has ever seen.

If in this next election the Republicans win not just the Presidency but also an over whelming percentage of both the Senate and the House, Kattie bar the door because we are not giong to be held back as this nation will persue the terrorist evil that befail this nation on 9/11/2003. Which may cause the other nations like Russia and/or China to launch attacks against US.

Should the Democrats win the Presidency it is unlikely that they will win back any institution of Congress. If they do win something in Congress their majority will not be very large. Their policies will bog down and the world will have a reprieve from "American Justus". If we are attacked, and I don't see one coming with a Democratic Presidency, the Democrats will not attack unilaterly but with a League of European nations.

Let's face it, even with our shore lines in devistation our Navy will still be at sea. It will have no choise but to join with the European alliance as well as any of our forces in foreign lands.

However, any senario seen can play out to the same end.

Regarding earthquakes and mountains, hailstones and islands etc as in Revelation 16:18-21 we have some inconsistency.

Since the mountains represent government-nation leaderships in real meaning, it means the earthquake and splitting of the great city into three parts DO NOT represent

earth crust movements as in physical earthquakes that move and split up the lands, roads, ground per say -- The mountains are not earth crust mountains like MOUNT EVEREST ETC, they are governments and national leaderships.

The sixth seal also has a few points that suggest a non-literal interpretation.
--And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth--
I know humans are to experience some turmoil during that time, but STARS falling from

heaven onto earth is simply not possible... again, we are not talking of PLANETARY
destruction here. The Sun is an example of a star... A single STAR impacting earth is the end... how much more stars of heaven colliding with earth?

We cannot take that literally as well.... AND THE INSTANT WE LOSE THE sky and cloud cover around earth as in " the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together etc'

Earth becomes like Venus or Mercury and again, the end time DOES NOT imply destruction of Earth... . Nobody survives without the cloud cover and Earth cannot survive a single STAR collision.. how much more multiple stars.

This must be some spiritual occurrences that would still produce severe turmoil though. but stars are just to huge to impact earth and leave the PlaNET surviving.

Why would you do such a thing? Please explain yourself. Why is it that you can not see that Jesus is God manifested as the Son, and that God is manifested in the person of Jesus Christ. Do you not understand that the name Jesus means "Jehovah Saves"?

YOU SEEM TO HAVE RESTRICTED YOUR QUOTES TO THE OLD TESTAMENT. THERE MUST BE A SPECIAL REASON.

I have a feeling He is speaking as one who says Christ does NOT EXIST.

The idea that a Son born from eternity came down and took upon Himself human form collapses as totally erroneous and is exploded on considering the passages from the Word in which Jehovah Himself says that He is the Saviour and Redeemer, as the following:

Am I not Jehovah, and there is no God beside Me? There is no righteous God and Saviour beside Me. Isa. 45:21, 22.

Those, however, who are plunged in the shades of night as the result of convincing themselves that a trinity of three Divine persons was before creation, and that the second person of this man made trinity was sent by the Father, and that it was he who descended and became man in order to redeem us, close their eyes to those Divine sayings, and ponder with their eyes shut how to pervert them and make them square with their false ideas.
