Arab League: Not one Israeli in future Palestine & requesting UN to investigate Arafat’s death

Arab League chief speaks at a conference of Arab foreign ministers, convened at the request of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, to support PA interests.
By Jack Khoury & Reuters

"Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Araby said on Saturday that there could be ‘not one’ Israeli soldier in the territory of a future Palestine. At a conference of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo, al-Araby – alongside the Libyan foreign minister – was tasked with presenting U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry with the Arab stance on the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations..."

..as though the readers didn't need additional proof that the current round of Jewish negotiations with the Arabs, like all those before it, are headed nowhere.

Frankly, I'm bored wtih this whole process. Something HAS occurred to me, though, that has stirred up my interest. It concerns Mr. Obama's apparent determination to abandon the Middle East to the Iranians, and shift his priorities toward the military and diplomatic encirclement of China.

I mentioned the "new world order" that Obama seems to be headed for: one that would pit China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Israel against Japan, the US, India and Iran.

That order is interesting to me, because my friends and family are in China, Israel and Saudi Arabia, and I don't know anyone in Japan, India and Iran. It got me to thinking about the American Jews. If I have to be concerned that my grandchildren in China may end up in a war against their friends and relatives (no matter WHICH side of the ocean they live on), shouldn't American Jews be interested in what fate will befall them?

NEW JEWISH ALIYAH COMING?

bilde

Israel reaches out to save U.S. Jewish community | The Detroit News

As of this writing, about 43% of the world's Jews (6,042,000) live in Israel, where their numbers are increasing. somewhat under that amount (~39% or 5,435,000) live in the US, where their numbers are increasing. Much smaller Jewish communities exist in France (483,500), Canada (315,120), the UK (263,346), Russia (205,000) and other countries (~1,300,000 total) [SRC of figures: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_population_by_country].

It occurred to me that God didn't promise to see the bones of over half of His chosen family bleach in the wilderness of the Diaspora, while the rest entered the Promised Land. When Obama's "pivot" to Iran is complete, and the American floodgates open to Arab and Iranian immigration, I wonder if there will be a mass exodus of Jews from the US to Israel.

We'll see.

Maybe I can pretend to be Jewish and get out of here too? I think it is the only safe place on earth even while surrounded by enemies.

There are many ways to live in Israel on a temporary basis. The best way to find out about them is probably to contact some Messianic Jews or Hebrew Roots Christians, because these sorts are continually going there for one reason or another. To reside permanently is another matter, but the door isn't closed. Young non-Jews were once welcomed in the Israeli Defense Forces, but this has become more restrictive lately. If you are Jewish, either natural-born or a sincere convert, of course, then not only are you welcome there, but the government will try to ease your transition as much as possible. Even so, many Jews who try to do "aliyah" (emigrate to Israel) get turned away by the harsh conditions there -- difficulty getting a job, etc.; and tens of thousands of Israelis have abandoned Israel, temporarily or permanently, for greener pastures.

As for Israel being "safe", read Zechariah 14. At the very end, which may well come during our generation, Jerusalem will be broken into, and many will be killed. Then the nations that attacked Israel will be smitten by God, and the Messianic Kingdom will issue forth. The language in Zechariah suggests a world-wide thermonuclear exchange, so "safety" may not be a practical term to describe things. In those days, what will matter is how one's heart is prepared before God; and of course, that's not restricted by geography.

Zechariah 14 is very explicit.

ARAB APARTHEID CRITICIZED

THE main emphasis of both the anti-Israeli lobby and the "Peace Process" is the complete isolation of Jews from Arabs and othere in the Middle East. In the "old days", this is what we called "segregation", "racism" and "apartheid". Nowadays, all these labels are applied, unjustly, to the Israeli Jews -- when, in fact, it is the Jews who are the victims.

Despite this hewan, anti-Jewish call by the international community, there are actually ARABS WITHIN ISRAEL who are struggling in the opposite direction, seeking true peace and integration with the Jews. The best example of such peace-loving Arabs is the Druze:

Druze MK Responds to MK Tibi: You Make Israeli Arabs’ Lives Worse, Not Better
Druze Knesset Member praises Israeli equality, says MK Tibi makes Israeli Arabs’ lives worse, not better because he knows his political future rests on the continued demonization of the State of Israel.
By Maayana Miskin

Deputy Speaker of Knesset Hamad Amar (Likud) has come out with a strong response to an article by MK Ahmed Tibi (Ra’am Ta’al) accusing Israel of racism.
Israeli Druze MK Hamad Amar (L) & Arab MK Ahmed Tibi (R)

Knesset Members – Israeli Druze, Hamad Amar (L) & Palestinian Arab, Ahmed Tibi (R)

"Amar not only defended Israel’s record of providing equal rights to all its citizens, but slammed Tibi and other Israeli Arab politicians, accusing them of hurting, not helping, Israel’s Arab minority...

"“Rather than encourage integration among our community, the community of Arabic-speaking Israeli citizens, Tibi supports segregation, calling for the complete ostracism of any Israeli Arab who volunteers for national civilian service,” he continued...

"Israeli Arabs have more rights than Arabs elsewhere in the Middle East, he noted. “In our whole region consisting of over 350 million Arabs, there are only 1,658,000 Arabs who have complete political and religious freedom and have the right to vote in full democratic elections. It is no coincidence that all of these Arabs live as full and equal citizens in the one Jewish State...”"

Will Saudi Arabia really go it alone?
After losing confidence in the U.S. over Syria and Iran, Saudi Arabia is signaling its intention to acquire a nuclear capability. But will the Saudis go the whole way?
By Yoel Guzansky | Dec. 25, 2013 | 2:43 PM

--  Advertisement

The conclusion of this op-ed in the very Leftist rag "Haaretz" is, "probably". With Turkey already in possession of nuclear weapons and the Saudis on the verge of deploying them, the net result of Obama's Middle East policy ("Pivot to Asia, and let those Jews and Camel-Jockeys fend for themselves") has been to turn the place into a nuclear-rich zone.

I can just smell another Nobel Prize in the works for B.O., can't you? Maybe Iran's Rouhani will share the honors. Middle East Nobel laureates tend either to start wars (Arafat, Sadat) or get assassinated (Sadat, Rabin) or both. Iran will celebrate the event, by announcing 60% enrichment:

MAJOR US BASE GOING OVER TO IRANIAN SIDE

Qatar hosts the massive Al Udeid Air Base, which is vital to US military interests in the Middle East.

"The Al Udeid Air Base now serves as a logistics, command, and basing hub for U.S. operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Nearby Camp As Sayliyah houses significant U.S. military equipment prepositioning and command facilities for the CENTCOM area of operations..."

-- Al Udeid Air Base - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No matter how one wishes to spin this thing, Qatar, a Gulf Cooperation Council member, is going over to the enemy. I think it's time for Saudi Arabia to follow the examples of Egypt and Jordan, and make peace with Israel. Nobody else is going to be able to protect them from Iranian domination.

US prepares to pay Netanyahu back for Iran campaign, using Palestinian issue as bludgeon
DEBKAfile Exclusive Analysis December 28, 2013, 12:31 PM (IDT)

"The Obama administration is preparing to settle scores with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, for his campaign against US-led nuclear diplomacy with Iran, by holding him to blame for the impasse in Israel-Palestinian negotiations. This will ignore the uniform assessments by US and Israeli intelligence analysts that it is the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas who is holding out against all Secretary of State John Kerry’s Herculean efforts for a peace accord with Israel, say debkafile’s Washington and Jerusalem sources..."

-- US prepares to pay Netanyahu back for Iran campaign, using Palestinian issue as bludgeon

DEBKA waxes eloquent sometimes, but we'll see: Obama's approval ratings at the moment have dipped to below even George W. Bush's at this time in his Presidency. He could be capable of disastrous, self-destructive behavior.

I don't believe Obama is a rational man; and at the moment, he is surrounded by failures -- to a large extent, of his own making: the utter fiasco of rolling out Obamacare; the chaos surrounding losing our ambassador in Libya; the turning of friends into bitter enemies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia;, an Afghanistan he can't seem to shake loose of, an Iraq that he left in a shambles, a "pivot to Asia" that has done nothing but poison our relations with China; a nuclear North Korea that laughs at him; a Syrian war that has bested him, where he made boastful threats he had to back down from; a Turkish ally bogged down in scandal; European and other allies livid at his spying escapades; and now, grovelling to Iran and getting nothing of substance in return. His response to this has been denial, anger, and stumbling along from bad to worse. When dictators -- or even wannabe dictators like Obama -- get to this point, they can be dangerous.

Regardless of what Obama does, some things are certain: (1) There will be no "Peace Deal" of any substance between Israel and Abbas, (2) The Middle East War will go from bad to worse, merging with famine, disease and anarchic bloodletting in Africa, and (3) Americans should start praying now, about the next President we get: because he might just be as mad as Obama, but FUNCTIONAL!

Looky Here! I Think I've Found Out Why Obama Does What He Does In The Middle East

Check this out. It's the Wikipedia article about Obama's Foreign Policy team. It seems that he can't hang on to advisors too well. In just five years in office, he's gone through five Chiefs of Staff (Emanuel, Ruse, Daley, Lew and McDonough), five CIA Directors (Panetta, Morell, Petraeus, Morell again and Brennan) an four Trade Representatives (Kirk, Marantis, Sapiro and Froman). The only advisors he's held the whole five years are

1. Benjamin Rhodes, who writes the Foreign Policy speeches BO reads on the telepropmter, and

2. Valerie Jarrett, his Senior Advisor. Just take a look at Valerie's CV:

Born: Shiraz, IRAN
Occupation: Chicago Lawyer.

Boy, can you think of anyone more savvy about Middle Eastern affairs than a Chicago lawyer? or anyone more objective about our relationship with Iran than someone born there? Now, check this out:

US and Iran’s First Joint Military Venture: Fighting al Qaeda in Iraq
DEBKAfile Video December 29, 2013, 7:26 PM (IDT)

131218-iran-hmed-1213p.photoblog600.jpg

America's new allies???

JOINT US-IRANIAN MILITARY OPERATION

"With the Geneva Nuclear Accord still far from implementation a month after it was signed in Geneva, the United States and Iran are moving into stage two of their rapprochement: They are now fighting together to crush Al Qaeda terror in Iraq, debkafile’s exclusive military sources report.

"Iraq is two weeks into a major offensive for cutting al Qaeda down - the first major military challenge the jihadists have faced in the past six years. Three armies are fighting alongside Iraq: the United States, Iran’s Al Qods Brigades officers and Syria..."

-- US and Iran’s First Joint Military Venture: Fighting al Qaeda in Iraq

It takes a few years, for countries to "retool" their relations with one another; but the trend here is obvious: The US is becoming Iran's ally, and the enemy of both the Jews and the Arabs. In Asia, we are fueling a rift between Japan and China; in Europe, we are developing an arms-length, untrusting relationship with people who were once very close to us. In Africa, we are simply extracting what we can, and leaving the people to increasing squalor, violence and anarchy; and in Russia, we have a nuclear powerhouse that neither trusts us, nor we them.

This is not just a quantum shift in alliances. The moral abandon with which friends are betraying one another, and with which formerly Christian countries are abandoning their roots, is leading to a catastrophe like that Germany went through between 1933 and 1945.

In the Middle East, we used to be friends with the Jews, and with the monarchies and military dictatorships. Now, after flirting for a while with the Muslim Brotherhood, we have taken the side of the Iranians, Hizbullah and the Syrian Assad dictatorship. In other words, our foreign policy there increasingly resembles that of Russia. In Orwellian terms, "We are allied to Eurasia, and at war with East Asia; and the ever-present, secret bogeyman is a sinister Jew".

WE WON’T LET JORDAN VALLEY BECOME A SECOND LEBANON
December 26th, 2013
by Maayana Miskin and Ari Soffer (Arutz Sheva News)

"Residents of the Jordan Valley will fight the latest attempts to delegitimize their presence in the area, Jordan Valley Council head David Elhayani told Arutz Sheva.

"United States diplomats have been promoting the idea of an eventual Israeli withdrawal from the region, in the context of a final agreement proposed by the Obama administration. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has reportedly suggested that international forces could protect against terrorism in the IDF’s absence.

"But residents of the Jordan Valley are up in arms at the suggestion, which they say compromises Israel’s security..."
