The Voice In The Desert mission work?

I heard of the voice in the desert. I had a friend who went off grid completely and travelled with the disciples of this group.
Is there a way I can be a part of this movement and travel with them?
I love the zeal of this sect.

What is this thread about?

This board is about the Oriental Orthodox communion of churches (the Egyptian/Coptic, Syriac, Armenian, Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Indian Orthodox churches). Is the group you are referring to within this communion? I've never heard of it.
