Its coming up to a year since Tim and I met here on CF. We have been emailing each other every day, I would love to meet him but he has not told his parents about us yet Tim said they would not approve of this cause you can't trust any one online or meet them but by now we trust each other so I have decided to go to North Carolina in the spring.
His parents need to know I am not leading their son on or that I will hurt him

Yep, it's all over but the adjusting to married life now. So far, so good, but he's gone back to England while we wait for our visas to enter the country as potential permanent residents. Now, I need to sell just about everything I own, so what do you need?

Ya got any bookcases? Between me and my dd, we are running out of spaces for books!

I've been hiding over at another Christian parent site. (you can PM me for the link!) I am a moderator over there, so it takes my time up.
Plus I joined facebook as well.
I'm am doing the Old Testament Challenge through my church, and 2 book studies.
PLUS I am potty training my 3yr old!
so i am extrememly busy!

How's the potty training, boy, I am glad that's over, but there's new challenges as they become teens.

We are days away from signing for our first home and it's beautiful!!!
We are so incredibly blessed, I don't know how to thank the Lord, other than ask Him to use me for His will.

Two kids about to begin driving, two in middle school, and two very busy, drama-queen little girls.

Yep, I know about busyness, but I love it!!!

YKW? HE is the fool. You are a wonderful woman. I know that he had always said he did not want a gf or wife. But God said it is not good for man to be alone. He is foolish for letting you go.
But you know he will miss that special friendship.
So stand strong, and you will be strong in Christ.
I had prayed for this to work out for you and him because I love both of you.

I did answer his last email. I wonder if he will. If he chooses not to thats ok cause I said some harsh stuff to him. That he needs to grow up and stop hiding behind his mom's apron strings.
Yes I now he will miss my friendship since he does not have many friends to begin with male or female

Hi Fab Forty friends

It's been a long time since I've been hanging around CF. Life's been busy with various challenges.

Saw this thread and thought I'd update my sit. I have finally finished my degree so I am no longer a student. I re-enter the paid workforce next week. I have two part time jobs. One in counselling (didn't want full time - the burnout rate is too high) and one in retail sales at a direct to the public showroom of a wholesaler. So one heavy with responsibility and the other fun and secure.

My eldest has finished school and having a gap year before going to uni. No 2 is starting her TEE (last two years of high school) and the youngest just entered high school. Life is moving on.

Hope you are all well. I'm gonna try and be around a bit more again

How exciting, CM. Did you go to CA or did they pass through LV?


We leave for London next Sunday to enter UK on our settlement visas. It will be a while before we come back to the US, because it seems my family has no problem coming overseas to visit us as often as necessary.

I've been pretty busy here with work and the kids. I also just came back from a missionary trip in Costa Rica with the youth group at my church. It was fantastic and God, as always, was amazing!

We met on August 30, 2007 online---0N THIS VERY SITE!!! She saw my profile---sent me a private message---& we have been talking ever since. The picture on my profile page is Feb. 14th, 2008---after I had proposed marriage to her. So we are both excited---& yeah---nervous too. We have done alot of work on our house to get ready for our wedding & feel excited about talking this big step in our lives. IT WAS CHRISTIANFORUMS.COM THAT STARTED IT ALL FOR US.
