Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

The truth about salvation that milk drinkers don't understand

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Another writing I did in 2009 and still agree with today.
    Are ye really saved?
    Really born again?
Are you a doer or a hearer?
Do you put your beliefs and your ways of thinking in a box?
    Be not deceived.

Moses and the children of God and most of the Old Testament is used as an example for us.
If we want to be saved, we must repent and keep Gods law. We are still under the law (Moses) until God perfects us or sanctifies us (Love written on our hearts which keeps the law). We as doers, must work on our salvation with fear and trembling… and not by obeying the desires of our flesh (lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life). We are commanded to obey what God commands us to do (follow righteousness).

A believer is one who believes all the words in the Bible (knowledge) and acts to do what is said (a doer). Not someone who agrees with what is said (a hearer). If you are not doing all that Jesus says to do, it is like looking up in heaven to Jesus and saying “Jesus…I hear what you are saying…But I don’t feel like doing it your way… because my way is better… and my church knows better than you…and I cannot come into full agreement with what your word says.” And this happened because you became deceived in your way of thinking due to the cares and busyness of this world. On top of that, you drank way too much milk the church was ramming down your throat. And this has drowned any desire of repenting and fearing God that you might have had …if you had been properly instructed by a sanctified church. The devil is a roaming lion seeking who it can devour. There will be many false Christ and prophets and pastors who will come in Christ name. You will know them by their fruit. And their works will follow them. And if they are not bearing good fruit, God will gather them up and cast them in fire where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

When the seed is sown, you will reap a harvest (wisdom).

Sin is disobedience to God. Also known as the desires of the flesh. We automatically do what is evil (coveting, gossip, slander, lust…) and it is easy to do. It is harder to do what is right (love, giving, serving, patients, self control,…). We are commanded to die to the flesh so we can live in the spirit. How do we die to the flesh? Should your brother correct you if you sin?… in order to help your sanctification? Is your brother willing to receive correction himself when he sins?

We are under the control of demons believe it or not. Satan is the prince of the air and of this world. We are in a spiritual battle. If we aren’t fighting back, we are submitting and handing our souls over to the evil one. We are commanded to fight as in Ephesians 6. Take the whole armor of God.

Humbling ourselves in prayer to God is a key for Gods grace. If you truly want to do Gods will and pray or cry out for help because of the evil that is in us controlling us, God may eventually save us by the wilderness experience. When you sin because of bondage to demons and repent and try not do it and pray for help, God may show us grace by forgiving us of our sin because of the shed blood of Jesus. This is a process of sanctification and once you have the heart of Christ, sin won’t be in you anymore and God’s love and laws will be written on your heart and minds. This is called being born again. You need to go through a process of sanctification. Born again is not an overnight experience like today’s church teaches.

Fearing God is the beginning of wisdom.

Not many in bible history were saved in situations. The remnant of Noah’s flood was 8. The remnant of Sodom was 4… minus 1. The remnant of the original Israel from Egypt was two. God isn’t interested in numbers. He is interested in obedience.

There is a lot of deception going on today. Most people have closed minds and won’t look outside the box they put their selves in. This type of people is a good candidate for being deceived.

I find it hard to pray sometimes. I see others cry who are really repenting and I haven’t done this yet. I guess I don’t want it bad enough because it isn’t in all of my heart.

Are you living as the world? How do you know if you are a friend of the world? Does a deceived person know he is deceived?

Stay off the wide road. That road leads to distruction. The path to righteousness is small and narrow. Question anything the church is ramming down your throat. (Rapture, salvation, Romans Road, don’t have to follow the law, don’t have to be a doer of the word, don’t have to repent…). Or you may be deceived…and lose your salvation. God created us to love him and glorify him. We do part of that by keeping his word and believing what he tells us.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45...Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Most believe what they are told and ignore what the Bible says. Just as you brought up "born again", most believe they are already born again and don't understand that it's speaking of our transition.

1 John 5:3- "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."

Is keeping his commandments burdensome to you...?

Or is the way you teach others to be doing it burdensome to them...?

Cause if so, then maybe you are not trying to do them, nor are you teaching them right, etc...

Matthew 11:30- "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Is his yoke easy or his burden light to you...?

Or is the burden you are putting upon others, in the way that you are teaching, etc, does it/that make his yoke easy or his burden light to or for others, in their trying to do what you teach, etc...?

Cause if not, then maybe you are not doing nor teaching them right, etc...

Or is only done or kept by a "new and living way" (Hebrews 10:20), but just maybe not a new and living way that you fully know right now maybe, etc...?

    Maybe, etc...?

A way that is not man's way, etc, having to do with a lot of "exertion" and great strenuous strain, and great self-will and self-effort on his own part and own self/will only, etc...?

    Maybe, etc...?

And as one last one I will leave you with this scripture to think about, etc...?

Matthew 23:4- "“For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers."

"For they say but do not do", etc, (but only maybe think they do, etc) (Matthew 23:3)...

And I would add, "that the way that they teach is not right", etc, and "not a single one can ever keep them by those ways", etc...

Adding a very heavy burden that is not in any way shape or form ever "light", etc...

There is a much "better way", etc...

A way that does not appear at first to ever be able to succeed, but far surpasses any other kind of way ever in the end, etc...

    God Bless!

Sorry man, I just now read the rest of your post just now, and I think you might be headed in the right direction, so I apologize, OK...?

It was a good post, so just let my post just now above this be for others, OK...?

Galatians 5:16- "Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh."

"Live in the Spirit, and you will walk in and with the Spirit." (Galatians 5:25)...

And not fulfill the lusts and/or desires of the flesh, etc...

This is the "new and living way", etc...

    God Bless!

God bless you all. Let us thank God:

God creates the new person. We don't want credit for what He does!

    John 10 KJV
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
