    "I wait for the Lord,
    my soul waits
and I hope for his word.
My soul looks for the Lord
    more than sentinels for daybreak.
    More than sentinels for daybreak,
let Israel hope in the Lord,
For with the Lord is mercy,
    with him is plenteous redemption,
    And he will redeem Israel
from all its sins." --Psalm 130

Advent is the preparatory time of the 4 weeks before Christmas; here is a great explanation of how to handle this time of waiting for the celebration of Christ's incarnation, and also of our preparation for Christ's coming into our life when we die (it'll happen eventually, so better get ready!).

May God bless us all as we approach this special holiday, with an end to family tensions & a renewed welcoming of Christ into our lives!

Yes, a time for prayer and such gratefulness for the birth of our Saviour. Emmanuel, came to us to bring light and the hope of eternal life with Him. What a gift!
