The three angels messages in Revelation 14, and the 'fourth' angel of Revelation 18 contains God's final warning and call of mercy to the world, before the return of Jesus Christ. These messages are of such great importance that they have just as much significance, if not more, as the message Noah gave to the world before the flood. So any true believer should be greatly stirred by this. Time is running out friends!
What interests me, is that these messages contain very strong and dire wwarnings.Not just for unbelievers, but especially for those professing the Christian faith. And yet, these are messages of love, because God doesn't just show His love for us by saying 'nice' things. He also shows His love by warning us, and telling us of the consequences if we don't heed those warnings. But why is that 'interesting'? Because if you give these warnings to the professed Christian churches throughout the world today, the majority of them will tell you that you are not being 'loving' or 'brotherly' and will reject those messages. But what did the Lord say? "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten" (Revelation 3:19). So let us heed the warnings!
All three messages are linked together and cannot be separated as they give a combined warning to the world about who it is we should worship and obey.
FIRST ANGELS' MESSAGE
Revelation 14:6-7
Notice the angel has something to 'PREACH' to the world. So again, this shows it is symbolic of God's true people giving this message, even though angels still have an important part in helping to give light and power to us. And what important message to preach do they have? 'The everlasting gospel'. Did you know that the gospel is an 'everlasting' one, and that it was preached and revealed throughout the Old Testament? 1 Chronicles 16:25-31
What does this first angel (messenger) tell the people of the world? He tells the world to ...
'fear God' - What does it mean to 'fear God'? Does it mean to literally be 'scared' of God? Well, let's take a look at what the Bible says concerning the 'fear of God'.
Proverbs 8:13 Psalm 34:11-14.
So living in the fear of God is to hate the things that God hates - SIN. Which means we are to turn away from all manner of sin and wickedness - And that includes watching sin on tv or listening to sinful music! So if we are to 'hate sin', then what are we to do? Love righteousness! So to 'fear God' is really to love righteousness. And Jesus said in Matthew 5 that those who 'hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled.' What will be filled with? The very Spirit and life of Christ Himself.
Ephesians 3:14-20
'give God glory' - How do we bring glory to God in our lives? Exodus 33:22 says that God's glory passed by the mount where Moses was, and Exodus 34:6-7 reveals that glory - God's character: merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. So we are to SHOW God's character in our lives to the world, through the indwelling Spirit of Christ and His righteousness.
'the hour of God's judgment has come' - Is the world being judged right now? Well, think about this - When Jesus Christ returns at the second coming, what does the Bible say He has with Him? Revelation 22:12
So for Jesus to have His reward to give us when He returns, what must already taken place? Judgment! Right now in the heavenly sanctuary, the cases for all people being decided. Do you have any faith? If you do, are you actually living in accordance with the faith you proclaim? This is what Jesus Christ and the Father are judging RIGHT NOW! They are finding out if we are living in according with God's Word.
'worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.' - Do you know what the angel is pointing us to here? He is pointing us to the CREATOR. And where do we find the Creator revealed? We find Him revealed in the creation story and also in the 4th commandment concerning the sabbath. So here we find EVOLUTION REJECTED! Also, this is a call to keep the 4th commandment which states that the 7th day (our Saturday) is God's true holy sabbath day. A commandment that has been 'forgotten' through the vain tradition of men!
NOTE: Does the final message call us to worship the 'trinity' or '3 in 1 god'? No! It calls us to fear God and worship HIM. Who is this 'Him'? It is the Father, the one true God (1 Corinthians 8:6, John 17:3, 1 Timothy 2:5).
Exodus 20:8-11
The 4th commandment is the only command that reveals who it is we worship. Keeping the true 7th day sabbath (not Sunday) is a sign that we acknowledge God the Father as the Creator and OUR GOD. It is a sign that we are giving allegiance to Him, rather than giving allegiance to man and his 'traditions'.
Revelation 14:12
- Here are the ones who have submitted to the ways of Jesus Christ, and have allowed Jesus to dwell IN them and change their hearts (Galatians 2:20) - Here are the ones who are clothed with the righteous garments of Christ.
SECOND ANGELS' MESSAGE
Revelation 14:8
We see another warning of "Babylon" being fallen in Revelation 18:2-3
Now the majority of people wrongly identify who Babylon is, and therefore cannot respond to this urgent message to come out of Babylon. If you know WHO IS THE harlot OF BABYLON, you will see that the 'MOTHER of harlots' is none other than the Roman .............. . But is the pronouncement in Revelation 14:8 and Revelation 18:2 of Babylon now being 'fallen' and 'becoming' the habitation of every foul spirit, a pronouncement of the Roman .......... ?No. And I will tell you why.
The fact that this call is to a 'body' that is become fallen, means that at some point it was in good standing with God. Yet the Roman ........... has been in an apostate, 'fallen' condition right from the very beginning of the church. So to say that the Roman .......... is 'now fallen' and has 'become' the habitation of devils, is just the same as saying that Paganism, or Hinduism, or any other false religion has 'become fallen'. And that, as we know is not possible, because these false religions have always been the 'habitation of devils'.
So this specific end time call for God's people to come out of Babylon, isn't a specific message for the Roman .......... or any other false religion, and to turn to the one true God. No, this call is a specific call for God's very own people to come out of a 'body' that has BECOME fallen and has BECOME the habitation of every foul spirit. And what 'body' is that? The fallen Protestant churches, which have rejected truth and are uniting in this ecumenical movement with the 'mother harlot', the Roman .......... .
What is the ROOT cause of the fall of the Protestant churches? Look at what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:4-7
This is exactly what the fallen churches have done. They have followed after MAN and the TRADITIONS of man, rather than following God and His truth alone! And many will be lost because of this. Christ must be our leader, not man.
The churches have been progressively falling further into apostasy by "fornicating" with the world and allowing the heathen world to influence their "worship". Part of this apostasy is the teaching that we can be saved IN our sins, when the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus saves us FROM our sins. In other words, when we truly come to Christ Jesus and accept His righteousness for salvation, the evidence of our true faith is turning away from our sinful nature and keeping the commandments of God. And the third angel confirms that the true saints are those who are keeping God's Commandments through Jesus Christ living IN them. Thus they are accounted 'righteous' before God in Jesus.
Any unity with these fallen churches is a rejection of God's truth and will see us receive of the plagues. So this is a vital message to heed. COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE
THIRD ANGELS' MESSAGE
Revelation 14:9-12
This is the most solemn end time message, and we must make every effort to search and seek the truth on this matter. But we cannot look to man for understanding. We must look to God. Fall on your knees before God and pray that He will guide you to His truth and open your eyes on this matter.
It is amazing that so many people have been deceived into thinking that the mark of the beast in simply some sort of microchip or ID card. This is more Hollywood fiction than Bible truth! Yes, technology will be used to help enforce the mark. But this issue is much, much deeper than just some material thing. The third angels' message above actually gives us the clue as to what the mark of the beast will be. First the angel describes what will happen to those who take the mark and end up "spiritually" worshipping the beast. Then he says something of great importance and ttruth.He says that the "saints", the ones who DON'T take the mark, are the ones "keeping the ten Commandments of God and the faith OF Jesus".
The third angel's message is ALL about who we look to. Those who look to man for understanding, help and power and give their allegiance to man, will be deceived by man and end up receiving the beast's mark. Whereas those who look to Christ and Christ ALONE for teaching, understanding, help and power and give their allegiance to Christ as their leader will not be deceived and will not receive the beast's mark. This is vital.
The 'saints' (Revelation 14:12) are those who are clothed with the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST
Make no mistake, Satan is seeking to get his Sunday law enforced around the world, and he is using clever tactics like this climate change movement and 'family time' to persuade the world into 'keeping Sunday as a day of rest'. The arch deceiver has deceived the Christian world into 'keeping Sunday as a day of rest'.
