Actually the law is referring to the old laws and customs, not the 10 commandments. The overarching commandment given by Jesus is to love God, and love others as yourself. Putting that into practice is by keeping the 10 commandments. Saved by grace through faith is true, but sin is falling short of Gods best for you/us. We're imperfect human so whether saved Christians or not, we can still fall short. That's where we still need Gods mercy. It's nota done and dusted religion it's an ongoing growth process.

When we express aspects of God’s nature though walking in His way in obedience to His law we are expressing our love for that aspect of who He is, so everything that God has commanded was specifically commanded for the purpose of teaching how to love a different aspect of who He is, which is why there are many verses in both the OT and the NT that connect our love for God with our obedience to His commandments.

In Psalms 119:29-30, David wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, and he chose the way of faithfulness, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith. Likewise, in Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him His way that he might know Him and Israel too, and knowing God and Jesus is eternal life (John 17:3), which again has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith.

Did not Jesus say that unless you repent you will all likewise perish? Didn't He also say that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and pharisees you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven?
Yes Jesus said those things. Yet He is Our Righteousness by the doing of God, and He gives repentance 1 Cor 1:30

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins

See as exalted Saviour He gives repentance to them He came to save ! And Righteousness !

John wrote, "Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but try the Spirits whether they be of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world" 1 John 4:1.

What is the Spirit of Anti-Christ?

Anything that subverts the deity of Jesus Christ is Anti-Christ. Many cults and religions teach that Jesus was just an ordinary man and was not divine, they are Anti-Christ.

Anything that subverts the Gospel of Jesus Christ is Anti-Christ. Many religions teach that salvation is by works and obedience to the law. Many religions teach a salvation of works or obedience mixed with faith; this is a subtle way of teaching a false Gospel. Calvinism is another Gospel of salvation by predestination, which is a false Gospel and is anti-Christ, because it bypasses the work and the person of Jesus Christ.

Anti-Christ is another Gospel. Paul said, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" Galatians 1:8.

There is only one Gospel, it is the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. We are justified and reconciled unto God by the work and the person of Jesus Christ, plus nothing. No works, no obedience to the law. This work of salvation was done totally and completely outside of us. We had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with it. To say that we do is anti-Christ. All that we are called to do is to believe it, Ephesians 2:8.

Salvation is by faith alone, because it is by Christ alone. It is by Christ alone because man who is a sinner cannot save himself. God does not accept the works or the obedience of sinners, which we are all one of. If he did, that would make him a sinner. We are accepted only in Christ and because of Christ. Beware of the Spirit of Anti-Christ.

The Gospel is the entrance into heaven. Satan knows that if he can subvert the Gospel with works and obedience to the law that many will be lost. Salvation has always been by faith, even in the Old Testament. Nothing has changed, we are still saved and justified by Christ and by Christ alone.
A spirit is antichrist if it denies Christ.

Should I, too, present a strawman, to represent you? "[Arminianism] is a Gospel of salvation by chance, which is a false Gospel and is anti-Christ, because it bypasses the work and the person of Jesus Christ."
