Now, when there us something I am eating that he wants, and that he shouldn't have, I sprinkle it on the bite I offer him---he turns away from it, but he thinks I am willing to share---this way he doesn't' feel sad that I don't give him what I a having!

Our little lap dogs don't like the cold weather. They go outside and go into hibernation when they come back in. Our blankets on the chairs are real popular, and they make little nests out of them.

I loose my Siberian husky in cold weather--he loves it and wants only to be outside, he comes in for food, water and treats. He spends summers indoors and winters outside.

I'm getting my dog back! Slowly, he is spending more and more time indoors as the weather warms up. He spends only his evenings outside now, and early in the morning. As soon as it gets warm, it's inside for this fur ball. 2 weeks ago I finally grabbed him and leashed him and spend 2 hours raking his fur. I had a mountain of fur---could have easily knitted me another dog! I was barely able to move my arms for the next week. This week wasn't much better! He needs to get it done professionally--I just have to save up for it. I have hair clippers, but he needs industrial strength ones, mine won't put a dent in his fur.

We were gone longer than normal running errands this afternoon. Our two little dogs waited not so patiently by the garage door going into the house. Hank brought one of his favorite toys to show us. It's like a worn out dog with yarn hanging all over it. We could look at it, but we couldn't touch it according to Hank.

What gives me a smile is my kittens face when he is snuggled under my arm in bed. He looks like he is smiling too.
