Numbers 23:21 He has not observed iniquity in Jacob,
Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel.
The Lord his God is with him,
And the shout of a King is among them.
Teruah [H8643] a great shout
The Psalmist declares there is a blessing upon the people who know the Teruah
Psalm 89:15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
This joyful sound is found in Victory, on the field of battle
Joshua 6:5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn,
and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a
great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up
every man straight before him.
1 Samuel 4:5 And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp,
all Israel shouted so loudly that the earth shook.
So, what is this great shout? Have you experienced this as a move of the Spirit?
Is there a name, an attribute, a short prayer that is shouted?
Is the shout of a King an utterance provided by the Holy Spirit as the conditions warrant?
How can the people of God experience more of this blessing, that they may walk in
the light of the countenance of God?
