I think before we make a policy on your two points, we first need to address the exorbitant increases that upper education have implemented over the years. When I was in college in the late 80s, my tuition, room and board went from $12,000 per year to $22,000 in five years. Maybe that's where we could see some kind of bipartisan support first, solve the cause then work on the symptoms?

Yes. The problem is that a strong middle class is necessary for a prosperous and free nation. And the middle class is shrinking, partly because the social mobility that higher education offers is no longer financially feasible for many young people. It's a huge problem.

Biden has created a crisis at the Southern border, whereby 100,000’s of illegal aliens untested for COVID 19 are pouring into our country.

Many have been deported before and are criminals.

Absolute nightmare.

Biden has created a crisis at the Southern border,

First, this crisis began building because of mismanagement:
The number of illegal crossings at the southern border has steadily risen since October 2020. The number of apprehensions between October 2020 and January 2021 was 296,259, while the same period the year prior saw 164,932 apprehensions, according to CBP data.
More than 101,500 Illegal Border Crossings During February

Biden inherited the problem, the second surge seen on Trump's watch. But at least Biden can do something about it; if nothing else, he could just do what Obama did that ended the earlier surge. (Trump ended those controls with predictable results)

Notice, that this surge is smaller than the crisis that Trump created a few years ago. And it's much, much smaller than the ones a few decades ago. So the sky isn't falling.

whereby 100,000’s of illegal aliens untested for COVID 19 are pouring into our country.

Well, let's take a look at that...
The Biden administration has made no changes to COVID-19 testing policies for either U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or Customs and Border Patrol. But a claim circulating online falsely suggests that the administration has stopped testing detained immigrants before they are released.
...
In reality, the Biden administration has maintained the same procedures for COVID-19 testing in detention facilities that were in effect during the previous administration.

Nothing in the Biden administration’s policy indicates a break from the standing policy on COVID-19 testing, Josiah Heyman, director of the Center for Interamerican and Border Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso, told us in a phone interview.

Both U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol confirmed to us that no such policies had changed.
Biden Hasn't Reduced COVID-19 Testing at the Border - FactCheck.org

It's not just that the far right is lying about that issue; the ironic thing is, infection rates in Mexico are lower than the infection rates in the United States.

Mexico has a COVID-19 infection rate of 16,748.
The United States has a COVID-19 infection rate of 91,145.

Roughly five and a half times greater than the rate in Mexico. You'd be much safer in a crowd if illegal immigrants from Mexico than you would be in a crowd of American citizens.

As usual, the extreme right is running around screaming "we're all gonna die", for nothing.

Trump didn't begin them; that came earlier. But he forced them to make a decision to chose the radical right or more traditional American values.

Call them the Biden Republicans.

Like the Reagan Democrats, they’re heavily white and live in suburbs. But where the Reagan Dems are blue-collar and culturally conservative, Greenberg sees the Biden Republicans as more affluent, highly educated and supportive of diversity. Historically, they identified with the Republican Party as their political home. But the leaders who were supposed to fight for them seem to care more about white grievance and keeping out immigrants; seem to care more about social issues and “owning the libs” than about child-care payments and college tuition. They don’t consider themselves Democrats—at least not yet—but they are voting for them, delivering them majorities in the House and Senate, and making Joe Biden just the fourth candidate in the past century to defeat an incumbent president.
The Rise of the Biden Republicans

Not just the "Never Trumpers." A large number of GOP leaders and thinker defected to Biden this last election, but as the last election and the bipartisan support for Biden's bills among republican voters show, the grass-roots republicans are finding themselves more in tune with the democrats than the GOP.

Trump received 74.2 million votes in the 2020 election: 2020 United States presidential election - Wikipedia

Meanwhile Obama received 65.9 million votes in the 2012 election: 2012 United States presidential election

Had Trump run for president in 2012 instead of Mitt Romney and received the same amount of votes that he got in 2020, he would have defeated Obama despite Obama’s massive popularity and widespread appeal.

You’re speaking as if the GOP is a lost cause because the affluent “country club Republicans” supposedly went for Biden in 2020 because they didn’t like Trump. Given that more people voted for Trump than Obama in the above-quoted statistics, I think you’re overstating the alienation some Republicans feel towards him and the direction he took the party. Do you disagree?

Everyone knows the truth.

President Trump had Mexico as well as Central American countries cooperating and the surge of “paid” refugees ended. The border wall was being completed and their was security at the border, with Homeland Security and ICE being support by the Trump administration.

Now the Cartels know America is for sale again, just as it was under Obama.

Biden Halts U.S.-Mexico Border Wall Construction, Trump Made Dismal Progress

It was a scam. Trump knew it wouldn't work. He knew Mexico wouldn't pay for it. But he knew some people would actually believe he was going to do it. Time to wake up.

See above. The current problem began in October. And Trump did essentially nothing about it. Now it's Biden's problem, because Trump couldn't handle it. You better hope Biden is better than Trump at handling it.

(Video of Senator Haw-haw unhappy with Biden for the immigration surge that started in October)

Maybe he should try to start another insurrection against America. How did that work for him last time?

Trump received 74.2 million votes in the 2020 election: 2020 United States presidential election - Wikipedia

His problem was that Joe Biden got 81.2 million votes.

Meanwhile Obama received 65.9 million votes in the 2012 election: 2012 United States presidential election

And his opponent only got 60.9 million votes. Do you see a trend here? (Hint: what do the votes have to do with who wins?)

Had Trump run for president in 2012 instead of Mitt Romney and received the same amount of votes that he got in 2020, he would have defeated Obama despite Obama’s massive popularity and widespread appeal.

In fact, Trump would have won the vast majority of presidential elections if he got 74.2 million votes. But he was running in the 2021 election. Bad luck um?

You’re speaking as if the GOP is a lost cause

No, I don't think so, and I hope I'm right. The takeover by white nationalists, neo-nazis and the like is disturbing, but I don't think it's permanent. It looks as though pro-American republicans are going to be able to retake their party.

because the affluent “country club Republicans” supposedly went for Biden in 2020

Those guys mostly went for Trump. You don't see a lot of main street republicans cheering Trump at his hideout, these days. Notice, for example, that the vast majority of republican voters have been supporting Biden's initiatives in Congress, while the "country club republicans" in the House and Senate have opposed them.

Given that more people voted for Trump than Obama in the above-quoted statistics,

He got more votes than George Washington, too. For the same reasons, I suppose.

I think you’re overstating the alienation some Republicans feel towards him

Given the size of his loss to Biden, (Trump admitted that level of loss was a "landslide") I'd say you were wrong.

Do you disagree?

The point is, millions of republicans disagree. And that's what counts.

Biden has reversed President Trump’s polices on border security, including stopping the wall from being built.

Biden and his Democrats spend millions on fence around capital but don’t want our borders secure.

Sounds like just a fancier way of describing NeverTrump types. And there's no reason to think that the people described will be an identifiable, distinct, segment of the electorate after Trump is no longer prominent.

and this:
"but as the last election and the bipartisan support for Biden's bills among republican voters show, the grass-roots republicans are finding themselves more in tune with the democrats than the GOP."

is little more than wishful thinking.

Trump got more votes than any sitting president (Democrat or Republican) in all of history. If that can only happen by losing 15 Biden-republicans then the Republicans should do it every election cycle.

The lies of the left just keep snowballing.

It wasn't "the left":
A Texas sheriff told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Feb. 9, “it’s absolutely true” that immigrants detained after crossing the border have been released into the U.S. without being tested for COVID-19.

The sheriff, A.J. Louderback, then cited and misrepresented a memo issued by David Pekoske, acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, on the first day of President Joe Biden’s term.

That exchange was highlighted in a story on a conservative website, The Political Insider, with the headline: “Texas Sheriff Claims Biden Admin Releasing Illegal Immigrants Into U.S. Without COVID Testing.”

It’s true that Louderback made the claim — but the claim itself is false.
Biden Hasn't Reduced COVID-19 Testing at the Border - FactCheck.org

Carlson was likely more the gullible patsy in this one. The Sheriff was the liar. But it's pretty clear that he isn't on "the left."

Trump got more votes than any sitting president (Democrat or Republican) in all of history.

And he lost by a margin that Trump himself described as "a landslide." Turns out, Biden got a lot more votes than Trump did. And that's what counts. We could maybe give Trump a participation award, if you like...

If that can only happen by losing 15 Biden-republicans

Over 600 prominent republicans voted for Biden
Nearly 600 prominent Republicans voting for Joe Biden

But what doomed Trump's re-election hopes was the rise of Biden republicans noted by polls before the election:
While most Republicans are ride-or-die passengers on the Trump train, GOP defectors are growing in number — and more Republicans than ever before have declared their intention to vote for Democratic nominee Joe Biden this November.

Exit polls reveal that 8% of registered Republicans and 16% of self-described conservatives voted for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016, and 6% of Republicans and 17% of self-described conservatives voted for former President Barack Obama in 2012. But the data suggests more Republicans are voting across party lines in 2020 than in either of the two previous elections.

A Hill-HarrisX national survey conducted in mid-August indicates that this year, 11% of Republicans are bucking GOP protocol and throwing their hat in the ring with Joe Biden. Those percentages are even higher among Generation Z voters born between 1996 and 2002.
More and more Republicans say they're planning to vote for Biden

It's why Biden outperformed other democrats this cycle. A huge number of republicans voted for him.

then the Republicans should do it every election cycle.

If they don't get their house in order, that might well happen.

Republicans did well in the Senate and House races while Trump reportedly lost by six million votes or so. This suggests that millions of ballots showed a vote only for President.

To have filled out most or all of the ballot, resolutions included, would have taken much more time, and that in turn points to the probability that large numbers of them were fraudulent ballots.

See above. Millions of republicans split the ticket, voting for republicans for Congress, but supporting Biden for president. They lost the Senate, in large measure because two republican senatorial candidates were so closely associated with Trump.

To have filled out most or all of the ballot, resolutions included, would have taken much more time, and that in turn points to the probability that large numbers of them were fraudulent ballots.

While it is true that most fraudulent votes have been by republicans, there is no evidence that millions of republicans fraudulently voted when they voted for republican congressmen and Biden for president.

So no wonder a judge in Georgia just ordered this week that mail in ballots for Fulton county be unsealed , signatures validated and envelopes matched to ballots. (As well as Fulton County firing its election commissioner)

Wednesday at 9:05 AM #1

From the "We count all ballots" files: Georgia Judge Gives Voter Integrity Group Access to Fulton County Election Ballots, “We have sworn affidavits from several poll managers who say they handled counterfeit ballots during the hand count audit”

Henry County Judge Brian Amero on Monday conditionally granted members of a Georgia-based coalition the right to unseal ballots from last November’s presidential election in Fulton County. Members of that group, VOTER GA, may now inspect those ballots for evidence of voter fraud.

As The Star News reported last month, the Fulton County Registration and Elections Board fired its elections director, Richard Barron. Barron had served the role since 2013.

Members of the public and the board in favor of firing Barron cited a variety of issues concerning the events at State Farm Arena, chain of custody, rejected ballots, record-keeping, security of ballot transportation, and the dismissal of whistleblowers such as Bridget Thorne. In December, The Star News interviewed Thorne about her affidavit and subsequent dismissal by the elections officials.

Thorne told The Star News that she’d been missing 400 emergency paper ballots during the election

==================== and interestingly --

VOTER GA spokesman Garland Favorito.

...

The Georgia Star News asked Favorito if he and his hundreds of volunteers might find enough evidence of voter fraud in Fulton County to tip the Georgia election in favor of former U.S. President Donald Trump?

“That’s possible,” Favorito said.

It's at last beginning to come out. It's too late to reverse the election, but gradually, gradually, it will be shown that President Trump was right about there having been significant vote fraud.

The court has already ruled that the Secretary of State in PA violated the law in a way that helped the Democrats. Plus, some more people were convicted of vote fraud just this week.
