You’ve probably heard all the good ones about GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum by now. The one about his “Google problem.” The one about the “man-on-dog sex” (prompting the greatest journalistic response ever, when the reporter told Santorum that he was “sort of freaking me out.”) The one about how the Catholic Church’s priest sex abuse scandal was caused by Boston liberalism, or the one about how President Obama should be anti-abortion because he’s black and abortion is like slavery. And so on and so forth.

That’s the Rick Santorum that America has come to know over the last 15 years or so – an unapologetic and almost goofy culture warrior whose obsessions – like thinking that gay sex is a gateway drug to inappropriate behavior with animals – make him a hero to social conservatives and often a laughing stock to most everyone else. Santorum’s rise in the 2012 presidential race has people talking about whether his views on social issues – talk of annulling gay marriages, seemingly questioning the right to even birth control --- make him too extreme to be president – and that’s an important topic to discuss.

Please, oh please, let the GOP nominate this guy.

Be careful what you wish for. How would you feel if he did get the nomination.....and got elected?

No way would he get elected. No way is America that stupid.

Republican candidates are just cannon fodder this year. Who his Santorum?

The media has to have something for the 6 o'clock news so they hype up these goofballs, inject into the vein of domestic propaganda, springing forth discussions and debates among hardcore GOP lifers.

Other than that, the only thing I found interesting in this GOP fun-run was that Donny Trump partnered with Newton "Leroy" Gingrich. Now that is funny!

Yes we do! And four more of blue!
Now how do we get rid of that good-for-nuttin' stall-and-squabble orange tainted squeaker-speaker Boehner?

I'm sure you're as equally excited at the prospect that he'll continue to remove our constitutional protections, start more wars, and continue to serve his corporate masters.

Wonder how much debt he can manage to create in the next four years?

Obama started NO wars, that was republican "W" Bush using the 'W' preemptive strike doctrine (code for war crimes).

Obama can't do more than what is given to him by the House and Senate, people such as McCain, (who recently endorsed Romney btw).

How does one serve corporate masters? Is that like making them pay back billions of TARP money as Obama has?

You say that like you feel none of them have corporate masters.

your kidding they just voted in the most undeserved unqualified ignorant arrogant president of them all. Obama has so much baggage and is still spewing stupidity at this time. Oh no we are apparently rather uniformed and ignorant country. We seem to just not really care. To busy with our lives i guess.

No wars? Wow, how quickly they forget Libya.

Obama can't do more than what is given to him by the House and Senate, people such as McCain, (who recently endorsed Romney btw).
Hahaha, Sure he can, he can veto the bill. He didn't.

How does one serve corporate masters? Is that like making them pay back billions of TARP money as Obama has?
He let the health insurance lobbyist write the Healthcare bill, he let bank lobbyist write his "reform" bill. He's got so many former members of Goldman Sacks in his administration he could open up a branch in the white house.

We are out of Iraq,
And it only took 3 years for him to do what he swore he'd do asap if you elected him. And on George Bush's withdrawl timeline to boot.

We are out of Libya as well; that was a limited action that we went in as part of NATO, not a unilateral "preemptive" strike.
And yet it was still a war that we had no reason to be involved in.

You would have preferred a depression?
What do you call the last few years?
