So, you are honestly telling me that theres not point to the apple challenge?
The main point I wish to convey via this challenge is this:

  • There is no evidence for the Creation.
That's all I wish to convey --- nothing more / nothing less.

So there's nothing to support the Hebrew mythology -- pretty much what I've been saying for a while now.

Well it's Christian "mythology" now --- so you can deal with us --- ;)

I'd rather deal with the people who developed the mythology than the ones who stole it -- more chances of finding someone who actually understands it.

After you guys have been calling their authors "ignorant goat herders" and "ignorant bronze-age goat herders," etc.?

I'd tell you all to take a hike.

Now when have I ever done that?

I'd tell you all to take a hike.

It's not your myth, so why should I care what you tell me?

This forum could use a larger Jewish presence -- I'm sure they'd love to comment on what the upstart Christians have done to their Scriptures.

I've thought the same thing, except I think they would be taking offense to you guys' calling their Scriptures everything but Scriptures.

Your main point fails.

You try to back up your claim that there is no evidence for the Creation by introducing a made up scenario where by your own definition no evidence exists. Every attempt to find evidence is ignored by you and called "changing your OP".

So you have "proven" your claim that there is no evidence for the Creation by installing a new claim: there is no evidence for the creation of your apple... without being able to show that claim correct.

But there is more: not only is there no evidence for the Creation... there is evidence against the Creation.

I´d say that you are at least consistent in your claims: your claims about creation have no evidence for them and evidence against them... just as your claim that you "pwn" us and eat Atheists for breakfast.

Self-pwned, I think this is called.

and theres no evidence that unicorns, dragons, dryads, satyrs, pooka, elves, dwarves, orcs, trolls or alligator-people exist either.

Thats not something people need to be 'challenged' by.

Thats something people with sane minds should simply accept.

Unless you live in fairy-tale land.

Does Heaven exist?

If we knew such things, life might be less confusing. =)

I hope it does, but at the same time I'm kinda hoping for reincarnation so I don't have to rest for the Lord; I'd rather continue trying to work for Him, something I might not be able to do in eternal rest by His side.

these are just my own personal dogmas though.

I create an apple ex nihilo into the palm of your hand.

What evidence would you use to convince your friend I did this?
The only evidence would be to recreate your defeat of physics, or find me a hopelessly gullible friend.

Neither of which are possible, as I choose my friends wisely and you can't make gravity matter repel matter.

Two questions:
  1. How would repeating it prove I created the first apple ex nihilo?
  2. What does gullibility have to do with it?

It would show that it was possible -- which is a step in the right direction.

What does gullibility have to do with it?

What kind of people do you expect to believe such a story? Without your own Holy Book, it's going to be hard to convince most religious types...

Repeating the impossible feat would prove you had the ability.

What does gullibility have to do with it?
Because I can't see a normal, intelligent person that would objectively view the apple in your hand, hear you say "I made this out of nothingness" and reply "That is a reasonable explanation of how apples are made"

Or better yet, read that in book written by (insert random people), stand in front of an apple tree, see how apples are made over years and years then say, "I have faith those apples come from AV1611VET because (same random people) which wrote this book said so.
