The Republican party (led by Trump) made several attempts to steal the 2020 election.

1. Coercing the Ukraine president to publicly declare an investigation into Joe Biden - For which Trump was impeached
2. A coordinated and strategised ploy to throw away mail-in votes. Knowing that Democrat supporters are more likely to use mail-in to avoid the pandemic and Republican supporters are more likely to ignore the pandemic, Trump (and FoxNews) encouraged Republicans to vote in person on election day. He replaced the head of the post office who went to work sabotaging the postal service ensuring its ability to deliver mail would be slowed down. On the run up to the election Trump sowed seeds of doubt and distrust about mail-in voting. And on the night and ever after, Trump and his army of lawyers made many unsupported claims of mail-in voter fraud. They did manage to throw out some mail-in votes in Pennsylvania but luckily the media and the Democratic supporters cottoned onto this scheme and voted well in advance of time.
3. Election watching and trying to run out the clock. - Trump's scheme was to create multiple law suites to try and run out the clock for certifying the electorates. He was hoping that instead of bothering with vote tallies, he could block counting and certification and instead get republican legislators to decree the Republican winner. - This was a great test of the USA system and has shown so far that the integrity of the system can hold up to a scrupulous and underhanded president.
4. Putting up decoy candidates to siphon away the Democrat vote. They did this with Kayne West and also in Florida to win a Senate Seat for the Republicans.

There are probably many other things Republicans did in an underhanded way to steal the elections.
If it looks like a politician, and acts like a politician, and ....

it doesn't matter what party..... a politician is a politician.

There's nothing to indicate mankind has improved.

I have. Biden got about 5-6 million more votes from Trump and is going to end up with 74 more electoral votes than Trump. Trump is throwing a hissy fit having several cases dragged to court to try to throw out ballots but so far he as lost over 30 cases, most due to a lack of evidence, some due to egregious mistakes by his legal team.

All part of the master plan. You have never played fourth dimensional chess have you? Trump is a 4D Chess master!

Not to mention that case where two people were upset that their votes weren't corrected/curated in their county so they wanted to get over 6 million other people's votes invalidated.

How does a "decoy candidate" for Senate "siphon away the Democratic vote" for President?
It doesn't.

That instance siphoned votes away from the Democrat Senate candidate. The Republican Senate candidate won by a very small margin. Way smaller than the amount of votes that went to the decoy candidate.

Control of the White house, the senate and the house were all up for grabs in the recent election weren't they?

Yes, that was my point. The Senate candidate, not the Presidential candidate.

This was very similar to the South Carolina situation in which the opposition party spent a lot on telling Republican voters not to support Sen. Graham but instead to vote for the Constitution Party candidate, "the real conservative."

Except that he was not a candidate
. He had dropped out of the race early in the campaign season, but it was too late to have his name removed from the ballot.

OK, noone has said otherwise.

Hard for me to look this up. Are you talking about Jaime Harrison?
