The Race Set Before Us: A Biblical Theology of Perseverance and Assurance

This book has clarified any theology I previously had held on perseverance of the saints. The whole book stemmed from the point of salvation being a future reward instead of a gift grasped solely in the past. While on the surface, it sounds works-oriented, it completely founds itself in God's monergistic grace. It also gives a good exposition on biblical warnings. Anyway--this radically changed my perception on the means of salvation, and I highly recommend it.
