The Power in the Name

The Power in a Name is imparted by
the One Who Bestows the Name.
This is the testimony that God Himself
has given us before chosen witnesses...
In heaven, on earth, and below the earth.
2 Peter 1:
17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

We have the prophetic word confirmed
Hebrews 1:
4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance
obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say:
You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You?
And again:I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son?
6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says:
Let all the angels of God worship Him.

7 And of the angels He says:
Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire.
8 But to the Son He says:
Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

John 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself,
so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.

And yet, there is more to be revealed.
Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

The power in The Name of the Messiah is that it gives all who believe in The Name of Jesus, that He is The promised Messiah (unique Son of God) from The prophecies of The Tanakh.

This name gives Eternal Life to all who believe.

The Power in the Name of the Resurrected
Son of God
Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
Luke 1:
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Yeshua is a common name, a clarifier is needed.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

Matthew 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”

John 1:46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”
Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

Colossians 1:
15 He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him
and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
