Loved all those!
I hadn't yet experienced my spiritual conversion ...
but had a 'religious' upbringing … so those appealed much to me!

Looking back, I can see how the Holy Spirit was working in my life even then …

Never got into My Sweet Lord … I liked the 'peppier' Beatles stuff …
but was really into Jesus Christ Superstar. (The WHOLE album! LOL!)
Went and saw the performance live, too, and was 'impressed' with it, as a young teen …
but when I heard the lyrics later, as a believer? Yes … EEK!

All the teens frequented a Christian Coffee House called "The Way Inn." It is where I met my wife of now 48 years,
Good days.

I didn't 'discover" Andre Crouch till much later.
He did so much good stuff, but my very favorite song of his?

I saw it in downtown Cleveland, Ohio … 'round about that same time!

I remember those days, too, of many posts and posters.
Here in this forum alone, there have been many different 'seasons' …
and you, being here longer, have seen more of them than I!


We know what is 'now,' but not what will be 'tomorrow' ...

The older I get … with the more 'seasons' I experience ...
the more I realize that 'to everything there is a season' ...
and whatever that 'season' might be, God is with us ...
because He is in every season ...
