The Bible prophesies that in the last days, Assyria and it's capital city, Nineveh (now Mosul), would again play a major role.


Today, ISIS now occupies the land of ancient Assyria, and ISIS may well be the modern day Assyrians that the Bible has spoken of in end time prophecies.

Yes, vinsight4u, it seems the Jews will have to go back to Babylon to complete there 70 years there.
This should then fulfill the prophecies of Jeremiah 29:10-14 too.

According to Micah 4:10, the Jews will have to leave the city and camp in the open field in Babylon.
There the Jews shall be rescued, and there in Babylon the Lord will finally redeem them from the hands of their enemies.

Then after the LORD has finally redeemed his servant Jacob,
Isaiah 48:20 instructs them to leave Babylon, and flee from Chaldea!


Hosea 12:9 also says the Jews will live in tents again,
and I suppose these tent dwellings will be in Babylon (now southern Iraq).


But first, before Babylon, don't you think the Jews must deal with the Assyrians,
for example, as pointed out in Isaiah 7:17-25?

standing the end times and Iraq's land.

Isaiah tells about this time. The NT shows the time of His appearing
in glory is when we shall be like Him.

There are of course more verses. I wanted to give a quick summary so you
can see where we agree or disagree.

4th seal - man of sin
5th seal - great tribulation
6th seal - day of the Lord

7th seal - 7 had trumpet angels return to pour out the vials of God's wrath
After this time is over, God again remembers the sins of Babylon, so next comes
the refilling of the seven vials - as the seven last plagues.
This is when the church will return before the vials end and the saints come as
armies out of heaven with the Lord. The saints that already gained victory over
the beast do not fight. They will later join the others to reign with Jesus
Christ for the 1000 years.

Thanks for all your comments, vinsight4u. I'm sorry I can't respond adequately to your scriptural insights because I don't really understand things all that well. When I have more time, perhaps I can look into these things in more depth.
