The more love, the less need to argue and judge

Lord, why do we fight and argue so much?

So again, I pretended the Lord was speaking to me and this is what came up:
My son, beliefs are very emotional, not based on reason. I have given mankind the power of reason to be able to communicate with one another. When respect for the other, your neighbor, no matter who they are, is missing, being reasonable, which is also being loving and understanding is often lost.

When you draw near to me, I give insight in some small way, into the inner world of those you disagree with. This leads to compassion and empathy, which can stop the endless violence of hateful speech and outright war. This can only be done on a one to one basis, your leaders cannot do this for you.

The more you learn to love the way I do, the less need there is to box others in, which leads to great interior freedom and deep emotional healing.-Br.MD

Haha, no. It's more like "the more love, the more we do argue and the less we fight and therefore can argue with each other."
To state with gentleness and love what one believes is yes the loving thing to do. That is not fighting. To fight is to try to control and change others, a useless enterprise, and often leaves deep wounds.

Peace
Mark
