John 3:
19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light,
lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen,
that they have been done in God.
Have you ever approached someone in obvious distress and asked if there is anything
you can do to assist? When you carry the day star, you will soon have opened up a most
startling confession. Those who are ready to come to the light, will confess what they have been doing openly, unsuspecting that from "their lips to the throne of God" by you, and do
not fully comprehend what they have just committed to until you offer to pray for them and seal their confession, and move into the Word of salvation, that the Holy Spirit has prepared for them.
On the other hand, there are those who will spin for you the most bizarre yarn you have
heard in an attempt to justify themselves against circumstances that are clearly of their own doing. What is most startling about these lies is that they seem to be utterly transparent to you, but seem to be an absolutely accurate rendering of the facts on their part. Darkness has consumed their mind. You are now fully in the realm of deliverance ministry, and will have to face some serious demons in continuing to minister to such a soul.
2 Peter 1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed
as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises
in your hearts.
