So God creates and stretches the heavens out like a curtain in the beginning then roll them up like a scroll at the end . All the physical and natural will disappear back to the supernatural existence where time is no longer a factor .. Indeed this was so, which was called the firmament, which had water above it, a layer of ice actually in accordance to Ezekiel. It could mean that when Christ returns there will be an opening in the sky or heavens that will emit rays of light that Christ and the angels will eminate and manifest from and once he takes all those that he is going to take with him, they will all be caught up together into that light, back into the opening, the opening will close and retreat and fly away or seem to blast away from us (thos eleft behind) at high speed like a scroll being rolled up and put/taken away...

Its interesting that you would mention God stretching the heavens out like a curtain in the beginning. Your thoughts on Earth possibly being set on it's current tilt on axis at the onset of the great flood to collapse the pre-flood firmament to low pressure and first rain .. Then to drain off the flood waters back under Earths mantle .. Recent discovery says there's 2 or 3 times more water under Earths crust than all the water in the oceans .. At the end time Earth will began to wobble like a drunkard and cause the oceans to be tossed around

I believe that this scripture is what John saw. He did not understand what He was seeing so He could only describe it using the understanding He had..

I believe this is what will happen when a meteor which will end up being called Wormwood will strike the earth. It will land in the sea and the huge amount of debris that will be thrown up in the atmosphere will roll across the sky like a blanket traveling to the horizon darkening the land where John was viewing it from..

This same meteor strike will also cause the great earthquake ( the greatest ever experienced by mankind ) spoken of it the book of Revelation and it will also cause the rain of fire and brimstone that shall rain down on a third of the planet earth and burn up a third of the land and make as blood a third of the seas..

It's probably something on a much bigger scale. The related scriptures say, a dark cloud will cover the whole Earth. and people will be running into caves.

Or multiple nuclear weapons being used globally would do the same thing, enough of them... But, that will be for those left behind after the rapture and before his and our (those raptured out)s return...

All the stars and heaven that we see could be rolled up into that one point of light that creates and opening from which Jesus and the hosts of heaven come out of at the rapture or after the rapture upon their return...

Anyhow, this reality is more than likely a simulation of their's and could all just all of the sudden be wrapped up into a single point of light, that goes away from the earth after being wrapped or rolled up like a scroll, considering the fact that it's all, all of it, is more than likely a simulation or illusion, is is highly probable that could all just disappear and be wrapped or rolled up into a single point of light that then leaves the rest of us left behind maybe...

Again the Meteor described by John as a great mountain burning with fire being cast into the sea.. is revealed in Revelation 8 while the description of the greatest earthquake mankind will ever experience is described in Revelation 16... Which also describes the shower of stones from the heavens that happens at around the same time Which is the rubble that was ejected by the impact into near earth orbit being pulled back down to earth by gravity causing a great shower of stones.. Which would look to john as a millions of falling starts and so he describes the event as all the starts in heavens falling at one time..

A nuclear detonation does not cause such a phenomenon.. But a mass re-entry of ejected rubble from a meteor impact could indeed cause such an effect to appear to John to be all the starts falling from heaven together..

I believe John had more then one vision of the same event but from different perspectives.. One where He witnessed the impact and one where He witness the effect on the world of that impact and one from the perspective of the Jerusalem.

Yes there are many anti-christs in this world. But their is also the Main Anti-christ also called the wicked one that will come in the end times.. We see this clearly spelt out in the verse below..

1 John 2 KJV
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

So that antichrist is pointing to one particular antichrist who they had been told was going to come..

But at the same time that there are many antichrists who are of the same spirit as that particular antichrist.. There where such people around in the days of John..

Yes i have read about those things you have mentioned.. And yes i agree we need to keep our eyes open and keep believing the teachings of our LORD Jesus Christ... When the time comes those who are indwelled by His Holy Spirit will be given understanding and will not be fooled by the great deception.. And those who reject the love of His truth , the Gospel, will be given over to strong delusions and they will believe the lie and will be doomed to condemnation..
