Hi there,

So just cross referencing Paul's mention of the Man of Sin, with the Book of Revelation where it talks about the Male Child, we come to a place where we do not know what the Man of Sin will be, as Child - but we know what the Holy Spirit will be, as a Child. If Revelation can describe the Male Child as Heavenly, then there is a childish interpretation of the Man of Sin as Earthly. The point is, while we commend the Heavenly easily, it can help to cope with the Hellishness of sin on Earth, by dealing with its "king" lightly. The Man of Sin, is also (simply) the Child of Iniquity.

Can the actions of a child be overlooked? They can! And what better hope of reward, than to overlook sin, for the love of iniquity's disappearing? For if the Man of Sin can withhold the power of the resurrection, what hope of escaping iniquity do we have, but that we forgive sins done by him, while he is on Earth? This is the fullness of the law - not that we be punished, but that we be chastened, not to flinch at our enemies antics, knowing that in the fullness of time, no enemy will be able to stand, so great a love.

We must remember to keep such a one as the Son of Lawlessness in mind, whether he does good or ill, because it is up to us, to stand for the coming of the Lord that he may see it. If the son of perdition was lost that scripture be fulfilled, the Son of Lawlessness will be set to sea that hearing of belief be fulfilled. This is the work of the Holy Spirit, that we all be set apart, even from one another, not that we love less, but that we love truly and more. It is a reminder that if God says "be cold" we must be cold, if God says "be hot" we must be hot (though I prefer colder, let the reader choose). These tests are a good thing!

The point here, is that there is better; the Child of Iniquity can be scolded, or he can be praised - but that is between him and his God, ulimately. You may say "well, he thinks he is his own god" and the case for that is indeed made in Daniel, but that does not change that his God disapproves first and desires him to come to Him second. We should not be in the business of telling other people what their "gods" should do. "Vengeance is mine," says the Lord "I will repay". Do you want to be treated like a child your whole life? No? Well then spare a thought for the faith, whom is treated foolishly all the day long - would you not pay your life with those with you, if it meant this foolishness would be dragged out by the tongue?

Be of good cheer, Christ has overcome the world - He is not remiss, to the Child of Iniquity, to give him his chance, before Judgment (you will not find a more hard headed son, than the Child of Iniquity becomes!). We must take heart that we will be known for what we believe, even if what we believe is "within" - the joy is that it will be impossible for them to take it from us!

Don't be distracted by fools, their day is coming, when they will be shut up in the Judgment they have made of God.

Peace, be with you all.
