I know nobody knows the day or hour the Lord will come back but I know it will be very soon. Anyway, do you think this is possible, that the Lord will come back on a Sunday since Sunday is known as the Lord's day?..I mean the Bible in Genesis talks about how the Lord made the earth in 7 days but rested on the 7th day which is Sunday I believe. It seems the Lord works on weekdays like a typical human being. But take his day off on Sunday. I also remember a Bible verse from our Lord. He said something about making sure our flight isn't in the winter and on a weekend I think wouldn't it make sense since the Lord would be working all that week and wouldn't it make sense for him to choose sunday that following week since he would have that whole day off? lol call me weird but is it possible the Lord will be coming back on a Sunday on some winter's day? It also says people will be giving into marriages and partying etc...dont people usually do those things on a weekend too? Ha.

hi you have a 1 in 7 chance. The day the Lord returns is exactly 42 months from the abomination o desolation. i think you might have a better chance looking at what days the jewish feasts fall on and then see what days the day of atonement falls on. if the LORD comes for the church 1st the feast of Trumpets then the 2nd coming will likely be the day of atonement or yom kippur. The 2nd coming can be a big debate as there is only one second coming . But is Star Trek they can say captain Kurt is coming to save them and he could transport them to the ship and Kirk would have come and saved them or kirk could beam down to the planet and save the day. This is the difference between the rapture and the 2nd coming

Hope I get raptured one early Monday morning. It would be like the ultimate "get out of work" card.

Every day is the Lord's day; he made them all.

Define "soon" - they've been saying that since the resurrection. Revelation 22:20

There's no sabbath in Gen 2. BTW the 7th day sabbath is never called the Lord's Day in Scripture.

And where is your proof of what anything you just said is in that verse..it just said God rested on the 7th day.which to me sounds like a sunday..to be honest It doesn't matter what day the Sabbath ends..all my life Sunday was always the end of the week to me..it was also known as the 7th day in my head lol

He didn't make Sunday, he rested on that day, the work was already finish..God probably just rested under a tree and just said Sunday...jk and that's how the 7th day came into existence..

Even if the Sabbath ends on Saturday that is still the 6th day not the 7th...there's 7 days in a week..not 6..so what day falls on the 7th if it is not sunday?

Sabbaths were originally established under a lunar calendar. Even if people stopped keeping track of calendar days we could easily figure out which day of the week was the original Sabbath.

I decline to say which day it would be this week, as I do not wish to be misinterpreted by a certain denomination.

Sunday is a day of reverence and rest for the Lord in us. It's known as a day of worship for him in this world. (Cliched much?) Jesus said it's not wrong to do good on the Sabbath. But Sunday isn't a work day. Lol and if we are going to do work on that day it seems it would be right to do a good work that honors and respect the Lord and his teachings mutually..no work should be done on Sunday but a good one. But some people still cut thier grass..lol but which is best to cut grass or chopped down and burn weeds full of snakes..
